Hi everyone! I might be allotted BITS B.E. Chemical or MSc. Semiconductor and Nanosciences, and I was unsure of which laptop should I buy. I wanted a macbook air M5 but someone told me that some of the software required do not run on mac so, I was unsure. Should I buy a windows or should I go ahead with the mac. Opinion of seniors will be valuable.

So I got a seat in LNMIIT today and I want to confirm about the refund policy, because 3.37lacs is not a small amount.
