From CFS symptoms to adrenaline overdrive/anxiety mode
For 3 weeks now I'm in this super adrenaline overdrive state which starts 3 minutes after waking up and lasts basically the whole day. Right now, the only way I can cope is by taking benzos but I know this is not a forever solution. I also start with an anti depressant but it's not working yet.
This adrenaline overdrive state eventually leads to anxiety and to a panic attack and all my tools like breathing techniques, Neurosym, Sensate, meditations etc. don't work.
The initial trigger was that my parents went on vacation for 2 weeks but that trigger has been resolved since they're back and I'm still suffering. It's like my brain is stuck now in overprotective mode but more like in a fight or flight state than a freeze (CFS) response.
Interestingly, I have no PEM, no fatigue, no brainfog or other CFS typical symptoms right now.
Usually I feel better in the evenings.
My main problem is that I suffer from appetite loss and I've already lost a few kg which is bad for me.
Can anyone relate? Has anyone experienced this, too and can give some nice advice how to overcome this phase?
