I need your completely unhinged advice

So as the title suggests I need advice.

Bit of back story - I am 20 years old and this is my first pregnancy, it wasn't exactly planned but when we found out we were very excited. I found out very early like around 3-4 weeks, I tested on the first day of missed period as a joke and it came back positive. Weeks 3/4 to around 6.5 were a bliss I just had tender breasts nothing else. Then I started throwing up out of no where and couldn't keep anything down even water and got admitted to hospital at 7 weeks and diagnosed with HG. I've been on cyclizine and metoclopramide and am now 12 weeks, meds helped a bit but it comes and goes in waves, today has been the worst in about 2 weeks and I've tried everything I can think of - ginger biscuits, crackers, teas, eating smaller things, staying hydrated but these don't help on the bad days or at all tbh.

I need your most unhinged things that helped you guys even just a tiny bit, eg I have found that sometimes (not all the time) lemonade or sniffing lemon juice can make the nausea go for an hour so, I need things like this. Please I am begging. I have considered abortion and prayed for miscarriage it's been so bad but in my heart I really want this baby and just want to push through and I feel awful about this I'm desperate

Thanks guys and I hope you're all okay :)

My test is in 2 weeks

So as the title suggests, my test is in 2 weeks (almost to the exact time as it's 11:11am).

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help me pass?

I am pregnant so am pretty much counting on passing first time or I won't pass at all in the next year or longer.

What were some mistakes you made in your test that were easily avoidable or lessons learned that would be beneficial?

Thank you!!!!

Maternity clothes

I'm currently only 10 weeks but I've noticed my jeans are starting to become quite tight and I'm having to use a hair bobble to fasten them. I'm sure it is probably just bloating at the minute but it won't be long before I (hopefully) start showing.

What are your guys' recommendations for maternity clothes?

- where is the best place to buy from?

- do you typically get specific maternity clothes or just size up?

- if you typically just size up, how many sizes up do you go?

I practically live in leggings but with the weather becoming warmer I'm just mainly wanting some nice jeans/summer clothes. I have some loose fitting dresses already so not necessarily them. Thank you :)

12 week scan

I am currently around 10 weeks from my LMP and have my 12 week ultrasound booked for in around 2/3 weeks. This is my first pregnancy so I have a few questions I'm sorry if they sound pretty dumb or obvious haha.

I'll be going through the NHS for my scans, when would they be able to tell me baby's gender?

And could anyone tell me anything id to do to prepare for this scan?

My appointment notice was pretty vague with just the hospital name, ward and time and no advice or 'what to do in preparation'

Thanks :)))

What are some of your favourite 'blink and you miss it' moments?

I'm rewatching the show for like the 10th time and always notice things I never noticed before and was just wondering if you guys have spotted things that are easily missed

Speeding on a dual carriageway

I had a driving lesson today, I've been having lessons since around august last year and my test is next month. My instructor and I are now starting to do mock tests near my test centre but to get there I have to go on a dual carriageway (speed limit 70mph). I have done this trip I don't even know how many times and I am very confident on these roads.

Today I went to overtake a lorry, I moved into the left lane and sped up slightly (I was originally doing around 60 behind the lorry so could increase speed to overtake). As I was looking in my rear mirror I increased my speed a bit too much and did not realise. As I was moving back into the right lane I noticed my speed was 76mph and when I was a safe enough distance and lowered it back down to around 68mph.

I was only over the limit for a maximum of 1 minute. I don't think my instructor noticed.

How likely is it I will get into trouble and what would the repercussions be? This has been playing on my mind for hours
