Thought I'd compare how myself to Ludwig now for fun (bc back when Ludwig was playing I was still really bad) but I can't see any stats for ludwigahgren, feinberghairline, or fatlolcow

Switched to toolscreen, but not sure how to do thin e-ray. Normally I do 30fov and look around and get entity spikes of 40-60 for bastion, but when i use the thin screen and check entities (normal fov) i don't get noticeable spikes. Is there something I'm missing?
Been practicing stronghold to zero with MPK after relatively consistently hitting zeros in the MCSR practice map but always choking them in actual games and finally hit a 1/8
I built it at 91 which was a bit low (I think should be 92 or 93?) but I pearled late so panicked a bit and went straight to speed bridging.
Am feeling more confident I'll hit my first zero in a real run soon.

Had I not pearled into the cage, could have gone for 95 and dragon not flew.
I've been practicing zeros for a month now, and can hit all towers up to m91 pretty consistently at 95 on practice map, and even managed to do the 1/8 at 88 a few times. Ppl on this subreddit helped me realise my pearls were too low but in this case it was too high. Second time I've had the dragon fly at 90, but this is the 5th time I've been able to get the setup built in time so am feeling really confident that I'll be able to hit it soon.
I used to have a lag problem but pausing for 2s in the end (and changing settings on end platform rather than in stronghold to overlap) solved this for me, still some lag (look at 2nd pearl) but not majorly impactful.
Any generic feedback/advice would be most welcome!
Last time I lagged someone suggested I pause for 2s when loading the end, forgot to do it this time but how do normal speedrunners not get lag? I think I've got all my PC stuff set up right

last time everyone else said my pearls were bad but I think this video shows the lag better - yes I could have block clutched but I didn't even see my pearl fly or land so wasn't ready to be teleported like that
I learnt zero cycling but I've never been able to do it in a run bc every time I enter the end it lags. It messes up my pearls and block clutches. I have nothing else open besides OBS, and my PC is decent enough (Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB, 2070Super) that I wouldn't expect trouble from Minecraft. Anyone know any fixes/tips to reduce lag?

I keep getting cooked with the wrong facing bridge bastion and no gold armour so want to learn a triple to chalice route, but everything I'm seeing on YouTube is too mechanical for me right now. Are there any easy & safe triple to chalice routes?
I had to reset a seed 15 mins into a run* but still managed to get into the end before my opponent but before I could one cycle he forfeited. Did that prevent me getting the Win after a Large Setback badge?

Stopped caring about competitive gaming, and decided to take out my HE switches for a good deal on hand-lubed gateron milky yellow pros and I love them. Typing faster, sounds so much nicer (I've moved my mic from in front of my face to in front of my keyboard to obnoxiously flaunt the aesthetic sounds lol), and in some places, gaming better. I do get some key chattering tho when I press certain keys they actuate multiple times messing up my hotkeys but I fixed this with a keyboard chattering ignoring tool
I am Iron III in ranked and trying to learn zero cycle. I find that:
I'm inconsistent with block clutching while pearling, and most of the time i pearl into the pillar, aim down to place blocks and spam click but the blocks don't place
I'm not building my zero setup fast enough
I'm mistiming my beds so it will do 40ish damage but not enough knockback for me to put the next bed.
Is there any tips to improve and become more consistent?
Also is there any kind of bed timing map a bit like wii sports baseball that tells me if i'm too early or late with bed timing?
