Friendly reminder about natural disasters
Spectrum has a clause in their TOS that states that disruption of services due to a natural disasters does not warrant outage credits or assistance of any kind. Outage credits are always optional. If you would like to see an example of how Spectrum reacts when a huge region experiences something like this, go ask Asheville, NC about what Spectrum did to them after Hurricane Helene.
The best thing to do if a natural disaster disrupts your service for more than 30 days is to flat out cancel it until you know that service can be reliably restored. Other wise, you *will* be charged for service that you are not receiving.
Hope this helps anyone who will go through a natural disaster this year!
