When did you realize Tim lost his fastball?

For me, around the time Founders Kitchen flopped. It was around that time that he also started complaining about the book he’s writing, that no one asked for, and his elbow injury became a focal point of his content.

Love you, Tim, but time to get your groove back.

Are We Going to Address the Elephant in the Room?

I’ve been a long-time Tim Ferriss listener, but are we finally at the point where we acknowledge that Steven Bartlett and Diary of a CEO have become an absolute force?

Love him or hate him, DOAC’s growth has been incredible. Massive guests, huge reach, and increasingly mainstream cultural relevance. Meanwhile, Tim remains the OG of long-form interviews and arguably the architect of this entire genre.

Which raises the obvious question:

Is Bartlett quietly taking market share from Tim?

Not necessarily in philosophy. They’re very different interviewers, but certainly in mindshare and listenership.

So here’s my proposal:

Podcast-Off.

One episode.
No co-hosts.
No gimmicks.
Just Tim Ferriss vs. Steven Bartlett in a head-to-head conversation about business, psychology, health, investing, and life.

The stakes?

Winner takes the podcast crown.
Loser goes to Clown Town. 🤡

In all seriousness, I think it’d be one of the most interesting podcast conversations on the internet. Two very different generations of podcasters. Two different styles. Two different worldviews.

Would you listen?

And more importantly: who wins?

Petition: Dial back portion posts

It’s uber repetitive, there’s nothing new to discuss, it’s not additive, there are better topics to cover. Aren’t ya’ll exhausted by the endless rants yet?

Emily Oberg: boob job?

The supreme health horse seems to have gotten implants - how does that square with her “better than you” all natural health philosophy?

Hunt Mode Activated - Target: gutter crawlers

We have a number of different creatures that like to take refuge in the gutters (e.g., frogs, pack regs, lizards, etc.). Their relative sights and sounds always triggers hunt mode!

The powder is creatine. When I scoop it, material clings to the outside of the scoop and it appears “charged.” With a little vibration they then shoot off the scoop. This has occurred daily for the last week.
