hi,

i am from Antwerp and visting cologne this weekend.

i know neumarkt, schildersgasse, and the other shoppingstreet. I have found a Vans store, but i am looking for the more alternative stores. House of Bones, Bkue tomato, where would I find this in Cologne?

Decided to pick up copying my old dvds and blurays, and my parents' so we can stash them all and save up some space.

I also started to care more about my internet privacy since last year and started de-googling.

Using Ente right now, i want to go to Immich if I am going to set up a home server, because it makes sense to me. And i was always intrigued about home servers.

my computer is...not old. It's antique.

I5 3th gen 3750k cpu

asus sabertooth z77 motherboard

MSI Geforce 1080 ti 8g graphics card

dont remember power supply, but it was pretty good back then.

a small nzxt cpu watercooler

and the worst part... 16 out of 32 GB of ddr3 ram. 2 sticks are dead and ddr3 is nowhere to be found in belgium.

SOOOOOOO... i wanted to use my cutrent silverstone raven RV02 case for the space for my HDDs, and build a new, not too expensive server.

intel I5 14100. not cheap but okay

MSI Pro b760m-p (or similar, socket and 6 sata-ports)

Be Quiet cpu cooler (just a quiet fan, unless i pick the cpu boxed version with fan included)

and then....

oh...my...god, what the hell!

i heard it here and there but I never really grasped it because i was out of that world.

DDR4 32GB (2x16) 3200 ram

300 euros!!!

i mean..

THREE....HUNDRED....!!!

okay...maybe 2x8 for now and add 2 more later?

sorry, no... 230 euros.

i remember paying 140 -1xx for 32gb 3200 ddr3 back then when it was new, wow.

no server for me because thats out of budget.

Maybe i should get me a n100 server like the beelink and DIY me some hdd-trays with a sata to usb-c?

how this world has changed...

story over

thank you for your attention

hello,

I am from Belgium

My father-in-law lost his son yesterday, and we were thinking of having part of the ashes in a darts-shaped jewel. preferably a dart with the middle section a transparent container with the ashes in, and the 'flights'(?) with the name of the son on it.

Anyone ever heard of something similar? or an idea on how to achieve something like this?

As the title says, curious if anyone has any pictures
