ADAS Calibrations - where do I start ?

I have experience in body shop management and auto estimating, and I’m looking to start an ADAS calibration business in Los Angeles County. My goal is to offer either mobile calibration services or calibrations at my own facility.

I’m looking for advice on the best place to get trained and educated so I can properly learn ADAS calibrations, understand the equipment and tools needed, and eventually market and grow my business.

Any recommendations on schools, training programs, certifications, or hands-on experience would be greatly appreciated.

Need advise and help

I’m 40 years old, married with kids, and live in California.

My house is worth about $1.8M, but I owe:
- $630K first mortgage
- $500K HELOC
- $1.4M business loan secured by the house

Total debt tied to the property is about $2.53M, so I’m over $700K upside down.

There’s a real chance my business may fail in the next 12–24 months.

I’m trying to understand the true worst-case scenario if I can no longer make the payments. From my perspective, the worst case is:
- I lose the business
- I lose the house
- I file bankruptcy
- My family moves into a rental
- I rebuild my life and finances from scratch

I don’t have major savings or other assets.

My main question is: after losing everything and filing bankruptcy, can creditors still come after me long-term, or is that realistically the end of it financially?
