New lenovo legion not charging

I got the new legion just yesterday and today i tried to install a ssd on which I'll use linux. But when i was trying to reconnect the battery after installing the ssd, there was a little spark near the pins of the cable connected to the battery. I ignored it and closed the back lid. After that i plugged in the laptop and turned in the laptop. Everything seemed fine cuz the ssd got recognised ,but i noticed that the battery is not actually charging. It is just showing that it is plugged in, but the battery is draining. Now i also performed a hard reboot (pressed the power button with the battery removed), but now neither the charger connects (indicator not glowing), nor is the laptop turning on. I ordered it from amazon. I have removed the ssd for now but it still doesn't work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Should i trust this?

I am gonna buy legion 5 (ryzen 7 260, rtx5050) from amazon. And i am getting an exchange value of 38300 (i don't even know how that's possible. I bought my old laptop for 40k 4 years ago). Also there is a 20k cashback on hdfc credit card. Which brings the total cost down to around 84000. Should i go for it?
