Feel like it's about time for the reminder that cyclists have to follow the same rules of the road as motorists.

The other day, I was pulling out of a parking lot on campus when this cyclist rips around me and slows down right in front of my car, then proceeded to blow through a stop sign. On a downhill. With both of his hands in his pockets. I ended up passing him a minute later, and he just stared me down smugly. He was in the middle of the road, not a sidewalk.

I don't know what this is or why he felt the need to almost get hit. Maybe he wanted some kind of insurance payout, but he still would've been the one who caused an accident.

You don't have automatic right of way just because you're on a bike. Im a cyclist, too, and I follow the rules of the road. You should, too.

Anywhere in town that's not Target I could go to try on swimsuits? Or if you know of a good website where I can order tops and bottoms sizes separately. I'm tired of wearing Target swimsuits.

Ever meet someone so stupid it's not worth your time, energy, or mental space to even try to correct them?

I feel really stupid for even giving a shit, but this person hangs out with my friend group and everyone just... lets her be there, and that's one of the things that pisses me off.

She's been a really shitty person to a lot of people I know (including me), and thinks she's the smartest in the room and will never stop talking, even when people around her are trying to have their own conversations. She will hijack every person's convo to talk about how hard her life is (it's not, and I know because she talks about the "hard" things all. the. fucking. time).

She's moving soon (thank fucking god) and I've been trying to help her land a job in her new area because I have connections there. Maybe I'm kind to her because I hope she'll turn into a better person, idk. I could literally help her land an internship at Google and was talking to her about it last night. She said "I'm not in college anymore" and I told her that internships aren't just for current college students. She turned around with "that's not how internships work, [my name]" in a super condescending tone like I was the stupid one.

This is all stupid and I don't think I should be wasting my mental energy on this, but this person has been grinding my gears for like 3 years and I just need to fucking vent about her somewhere. There's soooo much more that's she's done, but this is just the latest thing.
