Snorkeling Recommendations

Hi all, My family and I are taking a 4-day trip to Punta Cana this July and looking for the best snorkeling tours. For reference, we are staying at Dreams at Macao Beach. Any recommendations are appreciated. We don't really care how long the tour is, more about the experience you had and if it was good, what provider you used. TIA

Is the Canon Ef 16-35 F/4L IS USM still a good lens in 2026?

I am looking to buy a nice wide angle lens for my canon R8. This one caught my eye because of its cheaper used cost of around $600 for a lens that originally cost $1500. I will mostly be using it for landscape photos while traveling. I would like to use it for astrophotography but I can get a cheaper wide angle prime instead. My only concern is that the lens came out 12 years ago in 2014. Just looking for some reassurance that the lens is a good buy compared to the newer lenses that are around the same price. TIA

Basically what the title says. I am looking for a nice lens that isn't going to completely break the bank. Looking at it, I think either of those two lenses would be somewhat of a good fit, and I can get them both for around $600-650 used. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated. I have a Canon R8 with an adapter if that makes any difference

So I recently upgraded from my canon EOS m50 mark II to the Canon R8, and while I was able to buy an adapter to use most of my most used lenses, the one thing I am missing for this camera is a wide angle lens. For reference, I have a 50mm, an 85mm, and a 70-200. I am really big on landscapes, so having a good wide angle lens is essential. Before, I had both an 11-22 and a 24-45 (I think), so I’m used to having them.

My budget is around $500 or less, and after looking around it seems like the best options would be to either get the 24mm f/1.8, or consider one of the zoom lenses with variable apertures, which I would prefer not to do but am not 100% against it. I am a little into astrophotography however, and a zoom lens would not help with that.

Any advice is appreciated. TIA

I have a 15” MacBook Air and the right arrow key scissor mechanism split into separate pieces, rendering it not fixable. I took it into Apple and they said it would be ~$500 to send it in to get the single key fixed (yes the button still works). Should I try taking it to another Apple Store and see if they can help, should I spend $50 on a new piece and try and fix it myself, or am just SOL? I can’t justify spending half the cost of a MacBook on a fully functioning computer and keyboard for a single key switch.
