I currently have a Venture Rewards card and just noticed that the annual fee has been charged to my account. I’ve been considering applying for the Venture X card, and I’ve read that it may be better to apply for it as a new card rather than upgrading from the Venture Rewards card.

Given that, I wanted to ask if it’s possible to have the annual fee on my Venture Rewards card reversed, keep the miles, and downgrade the card instead.

My plan would be to then apply for a new Venture X card, earn the sign-up bonus miles, and transfer the miles from my downgraded Venture Rewards account to the Venture X.

I have a laundry machine in my building that costs 2.25 per wash. However, I would prefer to have my own. Is a portable washing machine worth it? Can anyone share their experience?
