How on Earth do you beat SolA as a single player?!
Seriously, it's beyond me how much this DLC hates single players, so much so that it's comparable to how much >!the fossil fuel industry hates Greta Thunberg!<. Even I explicitly selected "Single player" before I start, this DLC would still spawn zombies as if I was playing co-op and was leading a well-oiled SWAT team. After my I sent the "Beat" file to Cadenza, every time I enter SoLA, i get swarmed by nearly ten zombies in co-ordinated, spec-op fashion. This swarm would always include at least two apex variants, and these apex variants would always include at least one melee attacker and at least one ranged attacker (for example: screamer + butcher/whipper, slobber + mutator/crusher, etc.). This makes me look like a one-German army charging at the Maginot Line instead of sneaking through the Ardennes.
Maybe the designers should spend less time on forcing people to play co-op and start fixing the actual bugs, like the "invincible zombies" bug? It's beyond me that this game has been out for three years and such bugs still remain unfixed.
(Say "skill issue" all you want, but I'm just a non-competitive player who has a 9-17 job and no plan to enter competitive online gaming any time soon.)
I managed to record the "invincible zombie" bug
Yes, this is a bug, and yes, this is still a crime against humanity, because it confirms that this game relies on a mechanism that makes the zombies invincible under certain circumstances. While, in this particular case, one can argue that the mechanism was activated under the wrong circumstances, I do not believe that this mechanism should exist at all.
Cannot update BrickLink Studios!
I tried updating it in different WiFi networks, but no matter how many times I click on "Retry", I keep getting "Updating is aborted". What should I do??
