I have spent time working on this comic to be in my vision meaning the expressions, style, and other details to be the way i want them to be, i drew the character designs by hand digitally and wrote all the dialogue myself, edited the panels,

and edited some of the wording and other details by hand and worked with an AI to assist me, having used AI since it was new i could tell you that this comic would not be at all near my vision for it if i had relied on asking chatgpt to write the dialogue and 100% prompting the character designs

so my question for people who think AI is just prompting, not creative or lazy/people who think art needs a human touch to have "soul" and/or be art, do you think this is art? do you think this has soul? it wouldn't exist in the way it does if it weren't for my human touch so im curious as to what your take on this will be

i drew the original characters, put em through AI to match my art style and fixed mistakes AI made along the way along with editing some of the panels manually, anyways i hope y'all like this!

I can't tell if im being hard on myself or not, i feel like after the intro plus sound effects the guitar and such just doesn't sound "scary" enough cuz im inspired by things like the final bowser boss fight music in super mario world, one bossfight theme from HIKWYSOG: Theme am i talking about im also not very good with song pacing so if a song needs to be fast (think FNF music or shredding a guitar) i am horrible at achieving that without it sounding like random noise

TLDR; this is supposed to be a boss theme for a threatening character i think something sounds off about it, what do you think?

This comic was made using AI referencing my characters and features some minor manual edits so it matches my art style abit closer and the characters featured were completely hand drawn digitally and i used AI to portray what i cannot draw due to skill level

i feel the topic of manual artists using AI alongside their usual workflow is not brought up alot and so i don't know the general opinion about it

Thanks for all the support on my last post! my wrist and thumb are feeling better but there's still abit of soreness/pain so im not gonna be here as often for awhile probably above are my two ocs Jinx (in red) and Jennifer (in blue)

lore:

Jennifer was originally an alien who looked too different to other aliens so she was an outcast for looking "odd" and when she was found by one of my other ocs (Mia) she was modified by her own request to look more human because she already was very close to looking human

Jinx is her synthetically made sister who doesn't care about modesty as much as Jennifer does
