The data is all in this spreadsheet. If i made any mistake let me know!
Everything was rounded to the nearest percent, and Mega Evolutions were counted separately from their base form, but a mega winning counts as the base form winning.

I want shiny Manaphy. I've been using this video.
I am using a modded 3DS (New XL). The HeartGold is not a physical cartridge. I soft reset the game upon first timer. After putting my Raikou/Entei/Latias roamer locations into the Seed to Times thing, it tells "No match was found for your roaming Pokemon". Same thing when calling Irwin.
Essentially just not even at all close to the delay I'm trying to hit and I don't know why or how to solve that. Hopefully the information here is enough to help.

I also wanted to make a post about this but didn't really know how, so since its related I'll say it here;
the warm-up challenge had 720k participants
the global challenge had 411k
the may monthly challenge had 333k
the june monthly challenge had 1.3m
so if you were wondering how much that mobile launch did... over a million players joined a tournament.
you can tell how much its grown by the incineroar and whimsicott usage in a single battles tournament!

I think Reg m-b will literally only add the missing (non legendary) megas and thats it, and heres why:
mobile launch. the game i lacking a lot of stuff *because* they wanted to ease new players in, and mobile is going to add a ton of new players, so it doesnt make sense for any more real stuff to be added
Worlds. Worlds will be the first tournament of reg m-b, and as we saw in 2023, this really doesnt turn out well, but when you can only use 1 of the new pokemon added in a format on your team, itd probably make understanding the format a lot easier while still keeping it hype for the first format being worlds
theyve done something similar before. in sword/shield when they were called series, they had a good few series that only added gigantimax forms and nothing else. megas are way more impactful than that, so i dont see it being out of the question
i think we might see some balance changes though. idr see why not, especially with worlds coming up, but outside those and megas, i really dont see this format adding anything new. (god please nerf rock slide im so tired)
ladder usage barely changes after the first few days and i cant tell if its a feedback loop (low ladder player sees high usage mons, uses them, contributes to high usage), or if the mons just see so much usage early on that its impossible for significant change even after meta developments... actually its probably both
Image is just stuff im theorizing about rn. Something to look at. Also this is a VGC post, because Raichu-X will be a bum in Singles.
Anyway, Raichu-Y is the very obvious and clear winner of the two, with speed control in the form of 120 BP STAB Zap Cannons off 160 Special Attack, and the 3rd fastest Fake Out of all time.
Raichu-X is a little more complicated. Volt Tackle hits hard but its health bar will vanish after using it like, twice, which undermines the bulk its supposed to have over Raichu-Y. Also Tapu Koko will make this mon unviable the second it shows up.
Raichu-X does have something going for it though, that being a Rising Voltage that hits harder than Raichu-Y Zap Cannon
32 SpA Raichu Rising Voltage (140 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Sneasler in Electric Terrain: 145-172 (93.5 - 110.9%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
32 SpA Raichu Zap Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Sneasler: 144-169 (92.9 - 109%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
Its Volt Tackle IS stronger, but no so much to make the recoil worth it imo.
32 Atk Raichu Volt Tackle vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Abomasnow in Electric Terrain: 87-102 (52.7 - 61.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
32 SpA Raichu Rising Voltage (140 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Abomasnow in Electric Terrain: 69-82 (41.8 - 49.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Now obviously hitting slightly harder than Raichu-Y isn't anything special at all, but when its being support by Iron Bundle providing both BoltBeam and speed control in the form Icy Wind, as well as the crazy power of something like an Iron Valiant shooting off Dazzling Gleams and Moonblasts, which also pair well with Electric STAB, it could make for very powerful teams.
Of course, this is all relying on both Tapu Koko not existing, and Paradox Pokemon being in the game. If neither of these are met, Raichu-X is poop from a butt.
Anyway the main point of this post was just to spread the message that Rising Voltage is way more worth it than Volt Tackle on Raichu-X. As a side note, even invested into its Special Attack completely, its Physical Attack is still higher, so you could run Physical coverage alongside Rising Voltage like Play Rough or Knock Off or whatever.
If the Whimsicott and Incineroar didn't make it obvious enough, a lot of people played in this with their doubles team...
I would know because I fought multiple of them.
Sneasler falling in day 2 usage just to clutch
I wish Champions usage data would differentiate the megas from the base forms but i understand why they don't.
Part of me thinks maybe i should downsize to top 40 usage instead, because uh Garchomp-M/Tsareena/Espathra are sitting at 1.78% usage, as opposed to Hydreigons 3.95% usage, but uh idk
So i lowkey forgot about BSS when i posted usage a few days ago so uhhh im doing it now
this is my gimmick now im going to be the champions usage guy
unrelated i wanna know which version of this is the best way to display mega usage i havent really figured it out
idk if this is a good way to display mega evolutions but i wanted to include them in comparison to their base form so i did that.
also if anyone wants the tiermaker here. I hadn't been able to find any tiermaker with both every pokemon/form in champions using the sprites from champions so i made it myself.
