With Doomsday and Secret Wars coming in theatres i wanted to see where everyone's minds are at with Marvel and what better way to interact than with a fresh start in Secret Wars!

Plot: Battleworld has manifested. Pieces of the multiverse all converge onto a single planet held together by God Emperor Doom. In this Game of Thrones like literary RP you can either create your own OC to interact with canon characters or take up the mantle of a character you are fond of.

- Comic book knowledge is not required since this is a memory wiped world. What you bring is your own material without feeling restricted to canon events being upheld.

- Restricted characters: Dr Doom, The Fantastic Four, Star Lord, Spider-Man ( Peter and Miles ), Thanos and the Black Order, Cyclops, Captain Marvel, Thor Odinson, Black Panther, Namor.

*The restricted characters have lore reasons as to why they aren't playable but im more than happy to discuss making an exception aside from Doom*

- 18+ Server, This server is not for the intention of being a dating sim but with the plot being inspired by Game of Thrones politics, there is always a possibility for mature themes to be littered in a scene.

- Please be capable of writing up to 2 paragraphs for this RP. I don't expect you to keep up with it for every post as it is RP dependent but we are trying to distance ourselves from lazy writing

- We try to be respectful to everyone who joins regardless of their traits. Any bullying or discrimination will be met with a ban.

Combat/Conflict

Combat is allowed but consensual between parties. Regardless of who you play there is the courtesy of not meta gaming and not going "god mode" on another character for the sake of glorifying your own. Conflict must be met with a "give/take" system and everything must be green lit between both parties.

Looking for a small group for a literary RP. The landscape is set in marvel but there is a mass memory wipe and a very small amount of characters are restricted. This is not a romance based RP it’s suppose to be very “game of thrones” like in politics with people running different regions. There is lore but I’m looking for a group of 20 at the max. If more people join the better.

I said it’s not a romance based RP but that doesn’t mean that it’s excluding it entirely, I just prefer it to happen organically rather than going in with the intention.

I have Mr Sinister taken as a character and there is Ghost Rider taken as well so far, if you’re a fan of marvel whether it’s MCU or Comics this RP is completely friendly to those who are familiar with comics and new.

For those of you who ARE familiar, the setting is in Battleworld 2015

Some characters are restricted but there is the rest of the marvel mythos to pull your character out of or create an original one yourself.

Hosting a Literary RP discord server for comic enthusiasts such as myself. This is in anticipation for the movie(s) coming out this year and next year.

The setting - Battleworld 2015 map. All forty canonical domains are playable: Bar Sinister, Technopolis, the Monarchy of M, Higher Avalon, the Wastelands, King James' England, everything down to what's kept behind the Shield.

The one hard rule - God Emperor Doom is not playable. Not by anyone, me included. The Sheriff and the Thor Corps are the face of his authority, and those you can defy, evade, and bargain with.

How it plays - third person, past tense, prose. Two to five paragraphs a post, replies within about two days. If you dont reply in two days your character becomes an NPC and others are available to take that character if requested.

Characters are first come, first served, and I do clear out people who go quiet, not for tidiness, but because it isn't fair for a character to sit locked behind someone who stopped showing up. I've taken Mr. Sinister for myself

It's a brand new community server so currently I am the only one in it but with 4-5 people it will be more than enough to get something started. This is also taking place during a time the comics didn't cover so the history hasn't been written and i'd like to give as much creative freedom to the writer/player.

It's a literary RP server first but it doesn't mean it cant be a server for people to mingle and socialize with.

been a forever DM for a very long time and i still am for this DC and Marvel crossover campaign i have going on right now ( it is great )

However i do have some free time in my hands and i've been itching to be a player again, i like campaigns with serious tones that let comedy flow in naturally and not forced.

im throwing this out there mostly for people who are potentially looking for a player to fill in. I don't mind joining the middle of a campaign either. I also get that there would be some sort of "vibe check" before joining.

P.S if given time, i'd be more than happy to try to give a good Doom for a guest appearance if you had the occasion for it. If i'm doing a villain i can focus on getting "in character" by reading up on them before the character shows up.

Just wanted to post this here because some people are scratching their heads with how long its taking for Batman and Wonder Woman to be revealed.

Superman is already handled and established with Man of Tomorrow coming. He's the Iron Man of this universe and we'll probably see him pop up A LOT ( not complaining here )

Wonder Woman i'm guessing that DC is taking their time in handling her, she hasn't been doing great in representation and I think DC is going to try and do what marvel did with Cyclops and quietly work on Wonder Woman's popularity BEFORE they start showing details/trailers/casting of the movie. The saga is titled "Gods and Monsters" so Wonder Woman is arguably the most important one to be done RIGHT amongst the big three. They will work on her comics, work on representation in other forms of media so that when she enters the big screen it feels warranted, valid, and needed.

Batman...I genuinely believe that the Deathstroke and Bane movie is also trying to build up Batman's status as a vigilante. We know little to nothing about the DCU Batman and thats for the best. Batman was always the character in the big three that "surprised" everyone since he is JUST A GUY. By the time we get Brave and the Bold we will have heard about the Robins, we know he's put individuals like Dr Phosphorus in prison, we know he's basically a "boogeyman" in the night...Clayface, Deathstroke, and Bane all getting projects before him can only mean they want to build the LEGEND of Batman before we see him on the big screen so that it validates those moments that seem like an ass pull. It's literally a matter of them saying in the future "well he HAS beaten Bane and Deathstroke ( guessing here ), and he has dealt with Clayface, you've seen what those guys are capable of and Batman STILL beat them, you may not have seen it but it's canon and because of that, it makes sense for him to have pulled X feat off in this new movie"

By the time the big 3 has formed you have every element installed for the universe to move forward under the big three.

You have Superman as the beacon of hope for everyone in the universe

You have Wonder Woman, representing equality and balance between the ideals of Batman and Superman.

You then have Batman representing intellect, human resilience, and justice

With Superman out of the way, the other two require VERY DELICATE timing, execution, and build up in order for them all to genuinely feel like pillars of this universe.

This is just to explain why we haven't heard jack shit on Batman and Wonder Woman.

This is a bit awkward for me but my group had a falling out with a rather unpleasant individual. We are a very tight knit group and it’s been difficult trusting people to come in but my group also knows i am looking for people to fill in for the guy that left. I'll leave the details for the campaign ( in summary ) and a few notes about my group, if this peaks your interest than shoot me a message (: if not i completely get it

Campaign: Infinity Clash.

Premise: DC and Marvel crossover story. DC characters are bleeding into the marvel universe at a crucial time before a series of events unfold. With key story characters ( not taking spotlight away from the player but rather narrative tools ) such as Superboy Prime, Lobo, Absolute Joker, Dr Phosphorus, and more DC characters.

As of now, the party consists of Spider-Man, A necromantic journalist ( player who is focusing on RP rather than combat ), and another player who is switching off from Black Knight to a spellcasting support.

Dr Doom is the benefactor of the journalist and the party by proxy.

Doom and the party have attended the X Men's Gala in Krakoa. Doom had a meeting and he wanted a journalist for positive publicity in Krakoa.

The Avengers are missing, *not dead* just missing around the same time the DC heroes started pouring in.

Superboy Prime is acting as an independent agent and the party is trying to recruit him because "Doom wants him"

Prime is currently getting involved in the Annihilation storyline with Sentry, altering the series of events after Rocket came to earth briefly for recruiting.

Norman Osborne is leading the Dark Avengers in absence of the Avengers ( The party is also trying to steer Bob toward's Doom's side/the party's side as an ally )

Absolute Joker is trying to invade the Spiderverse and has a resistance to this universe's magic and reality warping abilities ( not immune, just resistant to cheap tricks )

Lobo fought against Ultron, after a while he won. He is aiding in the Annihilation War as well with Guy Gardner

Thanos, Apocalypse, Knull, Gorr, Dormammu, and Mr Sinister were left unchecked/unsupervised by the party ( not that they could stop them but they had opportunities to see what they were up to )

Kingpin is also mayor of New York and outlawed Vigilantes.

The party broke Simon Williams ( MCU version to show some love ) out of the raft on behest of Doom.

Group: We have a small server meant for DnD and a close knit group at that, i dont want it to sound exclusive but its how anyone would address a circle of friends. We talk about all sorts of things from games from Donkey Kong Country to BloodBorne and then to niche games like SCP or For Honor. We also like to have healthy debates.

If yall have any questions regarding the campaign im down to talk about it without spoiling but as of now i have like 1-2 spots open to continue.
