Punjabi guys and the latina lore is as old as time, with that being said why is it when it comes down to getting married all of a sudden now you want a punjabi girl? I can't wrap my head around how does one now want to wife up a punjabi girl who to begin with is not "your type" so why?
So many guys ik from college will get into long-term relationships with latinas and then 4yrs down the line out of nowhere boom ight i gotta go marry my own.
Whenever something devastating happens to me, I don’t just feel sad, I almost start building an identity around the sadness. When my dog died, I remember genuinely thinking “yup, I’m never letting myself be happy again.” Part of me felt like staying miserable forever was the only way to prove how deep the love and grief really were. I’d start envisioning this long gloomy future of sad days, isolating myself, carrying the pain forever like it meant something important.
It’s weird how in the moment my brain almost romanticizes the suffering and makes it feel meaningful or even comforting...?
Does anyone else experience this?
Trynna find some good pesto pasta in the area would appreciate some recs.
I’m not saying every official record is fake, but I struggle to believe that detention programs tied to intelligence agencies and military secrecy were perfectly documented with complete transparency.
Governments throughout history have hidden operations, destroyed records, misreported prisoner numbers, or held people under classified programs. So when I read that only a certain number of detainees were ever held or released, part of me wonders how anyone can be fully certain those numbers are complete.
What especially makes me question it is how little we hear directly from former detainees after release. A lot of information comes through official channels, legal groups, journalists, or governments themselves.
I’m genuinely open to having my view changed here. Are there independent oversight systems, investigations, whistleblowers, or documentation processes that make people confident the detainee records are mostly accurate? Or is some level of uncertainty unavoidable in systems built around national security secrecy?

I was recently dining in at the Millworks for Dinner. Our food and service was amazing as expected but as we were about to leave which was right at closing time, we saw a rodent cruising his way under the tables which makes me extremely concerned for the health and safety at this place. We waited for 10 mins for any staff to show up so we could inform them but since it was past closing no one was on ground. I'm looking to report the incident to the Department of Health but wanted to inform y'all in the meantime since rodent infestations are at an all time high right now!!!
I wonder what ya'll consider the best dessert in town and i'm not talking ice-cream or froyo something more unique, could be at a fine dine, a regular restaurant, bakery or even a bar.
