Following Neville led to me losing all my money and in the ER

When you all talk about how destructive the LoA is, I never believed it fully until I landed myself in the ER, writing this post. I have addictive tendencies and severe depression so when I went on my next LoAss binge I ended up gambling away thousands of dollars because I assumed I would just make all the money I could want. Now I am in even more crippling debt and feeling crushed.

I now have aired out the truth to my loved ones without seeing their reactions but I am terrified. I am going to speak to a counselor soon but still, I don't know what to do.

I lost everything because of this stupid "law" and Neville has truly sown destruction among thousands or even hundreds of thousands.

Disillusioned

CW: mentions of suicide

I yet again fell into the New Thought/Neville Goddard trap in an almost manic frenzy as someone who is hopelessly depressed and suicidal. It's exactly like a drug.

In reality, it is bullshit. And that makes me so sad. I had to leave work early today because of how low my baseline mood is without the Neville trap. No, I can't get all the money I want so I can stop working and leave the anguish. No I can't heal my depression or anxiety. No I can't fucking just be happy...

Fuck all of these fake ass people and messages promoting the LoAss just to get money. I wish people would stop trying to hopebait with it and that I just listened to common sense. At the same time, with no spirituality in my life anymore, suicide just seems like the most reasonable option. Why live in a world that is 95% dissatisfaction and misery? I can't face a modicum of stress or anxiety or discomfort.

It's over for me. I'm too lazy and broken. Having a happy life is a lie for me. Just anguish, torment, and inaction.

You cannot find proof of the Law

"Were it possible to carry conviction to another by means of reasoned arguments and detailed instances, this book would be many times it's size. It is seldom possible, however, to do so by means of written statements or arguments since to the suspended judgement it always seems plausible to say that the author was dishonest or deluded, and, therefore, his evidence was tainted... Personal success will prove far more convincing..." (Feeling is the Secret)

You cannot look to external proof, for a fault will always be found; a fault projected from your very own state of being. "The visible world itself can do nothing; it only bears record of its creator, the subjective state." (Freedom For All).

I still have a bad habit of looking to this subreddit and others for my own feeling of security and safety in belief in the Law. Going through success stories, constantly reassuring myself... But all that is doing is projecting a future of reading, rereading, proof seeking, etc.

You cannot find the proof you seek with any inkling of doubt or desperation. Your world being projected from you is going to just be full of the dishonesty or delusion that will keep you stuck in this phase until you realize that the very stories you look for and the search for faith and belief and proof is all within You. Nothing can convince you but personal, unwavering tests. Personal success is what Neville constantly emphasized.

As long as you hold anything within you as a failsafe e.g. "What if this won't work..." "I should hold onto a doubt or two so I can keep hoping in case it won't work," you are feeding your subconscious with the very projection of being on this treadmill forever.

I don't speak this to judge or condemn, but to point out my own slights and hopefully you see yourself in it and can correct along with me.

The Law will always seem dodgy if you assume it is. You will forever be torn between questioning if the world really is a place to grant your every desire or a meaningless place of suffering if you continue to hold onto failsafes because of the fear of devastation that it won't work.

But you must put it to the test.

"Test it, to prove it or disprove it."

"'Self-begotten fantasy' I hear you say. No more so than the things of earth."

My favorite Neville book is Out Of This World and The Search because of how awesome and mind blowing it is to read.

With the quote in the title, Neville posits that your mental images of sense and form of the wish fulfilled are no less real than a physical object or event in the 3D, because both of them exist within the only thing we can know: consciousness.

Time and changeability are the fourth dimension, when you imagine a scene following the fulfillment of your wish, you make "there" from what you'd experience in the flesh into "here," and since the 3D is a cross section of the 4D, it is the reason why desires felt fulfilled do not immediately manifest in this physical 3D world. A sequence of linear events must unfold in this denser cross section dimension. The 3D is the crystallized form of the images and assumptions that we make, and since it is a cross section, it unfolds in a linear sequence before the imagined "there" made "now" crystallizes.

This is what really got me understanding the core metaphysics behind Neville's teachings and understanding how consciousness is the one reality. Simply amazing.

Would anyone like to be manifesting buddies on Discord? (23M)

Hi all, recently I have been out of the swing of things with manifesting and struggling with my faith and could use a buddy to share experiences with. I'm more of a Neville type manifestor so if you're familiar with him I'd love to be friends! DM me if interested. Thank you!

Please help | Dealing with severe OCD and depression

I need manifesting advice and a convincing argument it's really real. My life the past few years has been hellish. Non stop anxiety, OCD, and depression/anhedonia. Life by itself is just too damn hard. I want to know if I can manifest it to be on "easy mode." I just want to relive my childhood joy for the rest of my days. I know it may sound absurd but that's the truth.

Has anyone here manifested away their mental health issues? I read some success stories about it. I would love to just be at peace again. I am seeing a psychiatrist.

And please, since I'm very skeptical, offer some arguments why it's real. People try to make arguments about quantum physics but they've been debunked. Even if it's just testimony, I'd love to hear it. I'm done being in this awful place. Please.
