Estate Sales

Hoping someone might have an answer to this because I’m genuinely perplexed. I’ve lived in a handful of cities both big and small and all have had estate sales nearby. I recently moved back to Charleston and when checking websites I was reminded that the only estate sales held are close to 100 miles away. Charleston is rich in history and I know has some amazing antiques. Does anyone know why we don’t see more estate sales in the area?

Neighbors

I live in a townhouse community, majority of the community is 3 bedrooms with a garage (that accommodates 2 vehicles) which are all located to the left of a road. 5 townhomes are 2 bedrooms without a garage (but with 2 designated parking spots per unit) and located to the right of a road, directly across the street from the main community. There are 2 guest parking spots on the side of the 2 bedrooms units and for the main community there is guest parking throughout.

Anyway, when we moved in we were told it was a maximum of 2 cars per townhome. I have lived here over a year now and there is a tenant living in the 3 bedrooms units across the road that has 3 vehicles and uses one of the two guest parking spots for the 2 bedroom units as his third car parking. If it were occasional I wouldn’t care but he rotates his cars in and out of it thus taking that parking spot 24/7. Again, even with that it’s not the end of the world, however for our units to find additional guest parking we have to walk across the street and about 1/2 a mile away. I also understand that’s part of apartment living but it’s beyond frustrating that some people have zero understanding of how to be a decent neighbor
