What's the easiest software for a complete novice to recreate a passage of music from memory (in order to identify it?) It needs generic choir, basic wind instrument, a sprinkle of basic percussion and lots of reverb.

I've never used an audio production software. I downloaded FL Studio on my PC, could not find my way for 30 minutes, tried to download plugins that don't exist anymore/have changed ownership, and then decided to ask for advice before I lose days to this personal project.

What's the easiest to learn and (preferably) free software that can do what the title says? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for a song that ends in an ominous chant that I'm 80% sure I played on Frets on Fire around 2007-2009.

I can remember literally nothing else about the song, except that ending chant. I could recreate that chant in some software if I knew how. I think there was also a shorter chanting interlude earlier in the song.

It had a lot of reverb and slowly built in volume until the end of the song. I think it used a five-bar cycle, which made it even more unnerving. Sounded like dark male voices, can't remember if it was full-on throat singing but adjacent. Quite similar to some of Mick Gordon's heavy metal choir stuff in Doom Eternal. I assumed it was Latin but honestly it could have been Spanish or gibberish for all I knew.

I even remember the sound of some of the words used in the chant, although it would be hard to type it out phonetically as it wasn't English. One of the lines was something like "Ol' osseh, ohm-briyeh" (with Nordic-sounding harsh rolling R's.)

It's also possible that the song was never on FoF and I just heard it around the same time, either from the same friend that gave me FoF on a flash drive, or on Youtube.

If I could find the right song pack for Frets on Fire, I should be able to go through the songs one by one. It was mostly rock and metal. Some songs I 100% remember being on the list:

Going under - Evanescence

Sweet sacrifice - Evanescence

You've got another thing coming - Judas Priest

Holiday - Green Day

A song by In Flames.

A song by Sum 41.

Any memories would be appreciated! Also any suggestions for free software that I can use to program basic musical instruments and choir voices, because I could absolutely recreate it to 90% accuracy.
