Hi this may be a long explanation. I want to put this up front now that I do have a picking disorder. This is mainly about how I always have the bumps before picking.
I am 32, and have been having chin and lower cheek acne ever since I was 13. I know this area is usually attributed, as far as I know, to hormones. I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago when I was 30 and the acne hasn't changed. I did keep my ovaries if this makes a difference.
Now. My mom was always a distant parent. In that way I mean that I didn't learn much. Never was taught to wear makeup, so every time I tried I looked like a slut or a whore. Was never taught about moisturizer or creams or anything. So since I was young it was always washing the face at night in the shower and that was it. I live in a dry climate so my skin does feel drier after I wash it. But at this point it's what I'm used to.
I don't want you all to write me a novel on what to do. That's a lot of work, but should I be doing a moisturizer during the day? Multiple times a day. Certain soaps? I really am out of my depth here.
Also I have the bumps and acne all times of the month. Not just during my cycle, Wich I still try to track.
I'm a tour guide. Right now I'm sitting here waiting for my guests to come back and I just set up for my second brew session. At zion national park.
Hi everyone. I randomly found this, what I hope is a queen, in page Arizona earlier tonight. She nearly got ran over. I was able to put her in a plastic water bottle for tonight and tomorrow with a hole punched into the lid, where I'll put her in a test tube when I get home. But I want to check and see what species she may be and if this is indeed a queen. This is my first time finding a wild one so I want to make sure. Thanks for any help
My husband managed to get me a ramen cook book that is in the style of a comic book. The visual aid of it really helped and this is my first real attempt at making a good tonkotsu ramen. Not bad for a first attmept
Hello everyone!

So I just recently got the idea to get a second cage and cut a hole in the bars in a few spots and connect the 2 cages. So the babies can have more room to roam and play when they are not out and about.

I was wondering if any of you have done this? What could I use to cover the ends of the wires to protect my babies from the sharp ends. And would it be possible to maybe use a tube to connect the cages to make it more fun for my girls?

Any other creative ideas you can think would be awesome. I have a hard time being creative so I love hearing things others come up with!

Have a great day!
I have wanted ferrets since I was 5. Since I lived with my aunt and uncle, who I lived with travelled alot I couldn't have any. Then when I moved back with my mom, Long story, we couldn't afford them. Now I'm 32 and I was finally able to get 2 of them. I'm so ecstatic and excited. I've only had them 2 days and I absolutely love them both to pieces. Zara is the lighter one and is bigger since she's 4 months old. Eileen is the darker one and smaller since she's 3 months.
Im an exotic pet owner. Have snakes and turantulas and bearded dragons. So I made sure to do my research. I can already tell Eileen is the cuddly-er one and Zara loves to explore. What are some toys you'd recommend and enrichment? I got them a ball pit. And dirt out and they've been having a blast. They have jingle toys, and in going to try and get them used to a more natural diet. (Frozen thawed mice, raw meats. Kibble. Egg yolks, and the occasional insect Wich I breed on my own.) Not all of these will be fed as a staple but as a treat.
Any advice or tricks you can give me id appreciate it.
Also the video I made to send to my friend. I am working on improving the room more for my girls. That is a work in progress. For now they are supervised when they explore.
