I've been in the Amazon Associates program for a while and have consistently received the Creator Rewards invitation every single month for the past year or so. This month I had my best performance ever — literally 3 times my usual merchandise sales volume — and I didn't get an invite for May.
I chatted with Associate Support and here's the summary of how it went:
I even asked if lower-volume accounts are still getting invites (yes, I know some are) and they basically shrugged it off.
I'm pretty confused and frustrated. The Creator Rewards bonus was a big part of why I was pushing so hard every month. Now it feels completely random even when you're crushing it.
Has anyone else experienced this recently? Did you eventually get back in? Is there any actual strategy or threshold people have figured out, or is it just luck at this point?
Appreciate any insight from people still in the program.
