In your personal opinion what game is better, Hollow Knight or Silksong?

I personally think silksong is better and the game isn't even 100% out yet. Silksong is better in every single way except in these things (imo):

Lore, Content (because Hollow Knight has more dlcs), First playthrough experience

I don't know what it is but Hollow Knight's lore but to this day it's one of my favorite lore games I ever experienced. And the first playthrough of Hollow Knight is genuinely an unforgettable experience. Even tho Silksong is better and I like it more objectively, I LOVE Hollow Knight more... (Poetic)

[Gog] THANK YOU SOO MUCH u/I_May_Say_Stuff FOR GIFTING ME HOLLOW KNIGHT: SILKSONG!!!

Holy SHIT, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH. I didn't expect for an angel to just drop down and bless me so soon. Genuinely, you have no idea how happy I am right now and it means the world to me.

And don't worry, I promise I'll do what you've told me when I get the chance. Once again, thank you so much, thank you again, and again. Have a good LIFE!

[Request] [STEAM] Hollow Knight: Silksong

Link to my profile: https://steamcommunity.com/id/randomsymbols2/

I'd really appreciate it if I got silksong. I've been a fan for a very long time and I wanted to play it but I don't have enough cash on me to buy games at the time. I don't expect that some angelic reddit user will come down and gift me silksong but it's worth a try.

I probably made some mistakes when writing this because it's my first time being in this subreddit but I'll probably fix it if the bot deletes my post. The reason why I want Silksong specifically is very simple, it has nearly everything I want in a game. Which is:

Difficulty (fair) Rich story Amazing soundtrack Good animation And most importantly, good gameplay. And silksong is a 10/10 when it comes to gameplay and the full game isn't even out yet (cuz the dlc is coming out).

And obviously I was waiting for a while for the game to come out, but it came out at the perfect time I'm not at best financial situation. I could just pirate silksong but that would be wrong legally and morally so that's why I'm here in the first place, taking my chances by asking random strangers online...

A little fun fact I'm actually new to steam in general, alright it's not that fun of a fact, but it's still a fact.

I don't really have anything else to write, once again, it would mean a lot to me if someone gifted me silksong. Take care!

What are your top 3 favorite, least favorite and hardest bosses?

Favorite:

  1. Dug Defender - he's epic and funny
  2. Pure Vessel
  3. Lost Kin

Least Favorite:

  1. Big ass bush
  2. Worm that spits out fetuses
  3. The Radiance (regular version, it's too slow and boring)

Hardest (during the first playthrough)

  1. Nightmare King Grimm
  2. Soul Master (genuinely don't know why I struggled so much)
  3. Absolute Radiance

I think it's safe to say that sans's story is done

It's basically confirmed that sans is from deltarune, it's a fact actually. But other than that we know nothing about sans other than the things we already knew about.

Same for Jevil honestly, as a number 1 fan, I'll let him go. To love is to let go after all.

Also I'm pretty sure this is the best thing Toby could've done because by chapter 5 sans lost all of his chances to be a major character in deltarune (but was pretty interesting that you had to talk to him in the weird route of ch 5). And he would most definitely steal the spotlight if he suddenly became important in ch 6 or 7 which I definitely wouldn't like because by this point the plot of deltarune is GENUINELY way more interesting than him.

Just a reminder that we don't know if this is how FRIEND actually looks like

We do know he's a cat with yellow and pink eyes with a wide grin but we don't know for sure how his actual, full body looks.

Is it weird that I still didn't change my horse even once from chapter 2?

His name is sans and he cost 15 dollars if I remember correctly, it's not about his stats, it's about the journey where he stayed by my side..! Datebayo!

What's the toughest legendary animal?

And what should be the first legendary animal I hunt?

What's the funniest thing that has happened to you by far?

Funniest thing that happened to me is probably fist fighting some crazy guy and then accidentally hitting the sheriff immediately after knocking the lunatic out.

Or maybe when I was riding sans throughout Saint Denis and I greeted some guy and accidentally bumped Arthur's foot onto someones wagon, making him scream and ragdoll like a rubber toy while sans was galloping.

Rdr2 is GENUINELY top 5 funniest games ever because it's so random.

I'm dying

Idk how the hell I got him off his horse, I launched us both into a wall by bumping into him hard enough and bro just started walking off.

Is this fair

So when chapter 3 and 4 released I pirated it on my phone cuz I had no way of playing the game (no credit card and no PC). But the day before ch 5 released I bought the real game on steam and played the game in a gaming club (spent over a little of 15 hours/dollars to finish all chapters but that's not important) cuz I still don't have a damn PC.

I paid off my dept to the annoying T, I'm cool right?

Funny theory

It's kinda funny how people though FRIEND was gonna have an important role during chapter 5, people even though they were gonna be the secret bossfight because of some cats colorations... They weren't wrong, we got out girl mew mew tho.

But I think FRIEND is never gonna be important because there are 2 chapters left until the game is over.

What are your favorite chapters, characters and bossfights?

I'll go first:

Chapter 5 - it's genuinely just the best chapter, best mechanics, best soundtrack, best fights etc... Chapter 2 - no comment lmao, just peak. Chapter 4 - Nothing wrong once again but there are simply better chapters, and I personally think the runbacks and puzzles can get a little repetitive. Chapter 3 - Once again, not a bad chapter, but there are better ones. But we get to know a lot more about Kris's past than we did before. Chapter 1 - It's honestly ass when you compare it to other chapters. Even when Deltarune was first out it wasn't really anything huge (Jevil and the end of the chapter were the only interesting parts of the chapter).

Characters:

  1. Jevil - idc, he'll be forever my favorite character.
  2. Kris, I love them. But I kindaaaa gotta do the weird route soon because, 23.99 euros is 23.99 euros🤞😭
  3. Susie - I hated her but eventually grew to start loving her.

Bossfights:

  1. Flowery - WOAH. Just woah, easily the best one so far.
  2. Jevil - Jevil is still to this day one of the best bossfights in deltarune, the boss music (arguably the best one in deltarune lowk), best entrance and just the whole execution was absolute peak.
  3. Mad mew mew - The music bro, and the mechanics were top notch as well.

Venting

How tf do I have better control over my horse? I was riding up a mountain and that mf started going left and right before launching me and his ass into a tree. I paused the game before we fell because that mf already got us almost killed and I didn't have any horse revives anymore because I already gave it to that mf 10 minutes ago.

And on top of that I'm patting that mf 24/7, what's his problem???? That mf cost 15 dollars and I named him sans.
