Why so many jalkumbhis on Kochi beaches?

I recently visited Fort Kochi beach and noticed these dirty sea weeds called pistia stratiotes(aka Jalkumbhis) which kills the atmosphere of such a scenic view...I have been to the beaches of Vizag,Chennai and Goa but haven't seen this... I feel Keralites are better when it comes to pollution(not perfect) but these plant's dead waste spoils the damn beach...I have seen foreigners complaining about the beach here...can't we have a solution to this?

Any updates about HiLite mall Kochi?

Recently I was on Thoppumpady bridge and saw beautiful yellow lighting near the mall and parking area(couldn't take the pic 😕)... I'm curious to know if they are ready to open anytime soon or any other updates?

What do you guys think about northies in Kerala?

As a North Indian(UP) residing currently in Kerala,I was curious on what people here think about Northies...I think the Mundamveli-Thoppumpady area, Mahavir Enclave(The Navy ppl residence) has brought a lot of change in this area...the area has many north cuisine,fashion and festival celebrations...I have seen malayalis comfortable with northies here but sometimes hear things from my friends who think they don't like their presence...what do you guys think? 🤔

Finally the construction curtains are removed from EVM cinemas,Fort Kochi...

The renovated EVM theatre with Kerala's first Dolby cinema will be ready to screen movies soon..🥳expected inauguration around onam week ...will have 2 screens with 1 dolby screen...prices are set to be little higher than regular... majority of the work is completed...

I see them here everyday near BOT Thoppumpady bridge on the Avenue walkway... Don't know if they are public workers, political workers or some community members...
