I have 2 these wired up to a few pumps for my pool. I have 240vAC coming in to one, and then I'm jumping over from one timer to the other. To be specific, I'm landing my 2 hots coming in on terminals 1 & 3 on the first clock, then jumping from those terminals to the other clock on terminals 1 & 3.
The problem I'm having is that the clock motor is only getting power when the manual switch is on. When i switch it off manually, the clock motor loses power and it won't function.
To my understanding, there's an internal switching mechanism on terminals 2 & 4, that are supposed to connect when in the off position that way, the clock moter still receives power. But that isn't happening. Both of them are having the same issue.
Can anyone help?
I'm planning on building a chain link fence in my backyard. Does anyone know if that's something St.charles cares much about, or do they even require me to pull a permit for a fence?
