gluten free pretzel that’s why it looks like a turd

everything is vegan. Hummus with red pepper, cream cheese with herbs, salami, “cheese”, fake chicken breast thing

3yo neutered male with HCM. Taking atenolol every 12 hours for the past year. Not allowed outside, but sometimes runs around in closed attached garage.

I noticed he had a little mark on his nose a week or so ago. I thought maybe the two cats were playing or he was chasing spiders or something. Today the wound is much worse and looks like it may be spreading to other parts of his nose. It's kind of blistering. When I looked at and gently wiped his nose this morning a bunch of hair came off and exposed his skin. He's got a second spot near his mouth that's also losing hair. It seems quite itchy based on how he rubs his face into my hand when I touch it.

I made a vet appointment tomorrow, but wondering if there's something obvious I'm missing and how to take care in the meantime. Thanks.
