CRED raffle: Bought 143 tickets for a chance to win up to ₹5 lakh. How does the prize work?

Hey everyone!

I bought 143 tickets for the CRED raffle that advertises “a year of credit card bills on CRED, up to ₹5 lakh.”

I have a few questions:

  1. If I win, will CRED pay my credit card bills directly?

  2. Do they give the prize as cash, cashback, or CRED balance?

  3. Is the prize paid all at once or spread over 12 months?

  4. Has anyone here won this raffle or a similar CRED raffle? What was your experience?

I've attached a screenshot of my tickets. Would love to hear from anyone who knows how this works!

Thanks!

IDFC FIRST Bank suddenly reduced the credit limit on both my credit cards to ₹5,000

Hi everyone,

Today I received SMS and email notifications from IDFC FIRST Bank saying that the credit limit on both of my IDFC FIRST credit cards has been revised to just ₹5,000, effective 10 September 2026.

The cards affected are:

Card ending 6659 → ₹5,000 limit

Card ending 3433 → ₹5,000 limit

I wasn't expecting this change, and both cards were reduced on the same day.

Has anyone else recently received a similar credit-limit reduction from IDFC FIRST Bank?

I'm particularly interested to know:

What reason did the bank give you?

Was the reduction temporary or permanent?

Were you able to get your previous limit restored?

Does this affect CIBIL/credit score or credit utilisation?

I've attached the screenshot of the SMS/email notification.

Any experiences or advice would be appreciated.

CheQ AU Credit Card application rejected — any idea why?

I recently tried to apply for the CheQ AU Credit Card, but my application was rejected.

The app only shows:

“Unable to proceed. Due to our internal policy guidelines, we can't move forward with your application at this time.”

It also says that I can re-apply after 180 days.

I’m a little confused because there’s no specific reason mentioned for the rejection. Has anyone else faced the same issue while applying for the CheQ AU Credit Card?

What are the common reasons for this type of rejection?

Is it related to CIBIL/credit history, income, existing credit cards, or AU Bank’s internal eligibility criteria?

Is there any way to know the exact reason for the rejection?

Federal Bank asking to update income/profile details – routine compliance message or something to worry about?

Received this SMS and email from Federal Bank about updating income/profile information for "unrestricted banking."

Context:

- I opened a Fi/Federal Bank savings account a while ago but never really used it.

- I mainly use my Scapia credit card (Federal Bank).

- I haven't received any message about account restrictions, freezes, or KYC expiry.

- The email mentions that account transactions should align with the reported income/profile and asks customers to update details if there are discrepancies.

Is this just a routine compliance/KYC reminder sent to many customers, or is it related to my Scapia credit card usage? Has anyone else received a similar message recently?

BOB Credit Card Fuel Transaction Showing Higher Amount Than What I Swiped

Need some help understanding a fuel transaction on my BOB credit card.

I filled fuel worth ₹9,999 at a petrol pump and swiped my BOB credit card for the same amount. However, when the transaction got posted, it showed ₹10,116.99 instead of ₹9,999.

On top of that, the statement also shows:

Fuel Transaction Processing Fee: ₹101.17

GST on Processing Fee: ₹18.21

So the charges appear as:

Fuel Transaction: ₹10,116.99

Fuel Processing Fee: ₹101.17

GST: ₹18.21

Total charged: ₹10,236.37

I'm confused because the fuel transaction itself is already ₹117.99 higher than the amount I swiped, and then the fuel processing fee and GST have been charged separately as well.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with BOB or any other credit card?

Is this normal for fuel transactions, a merchant error, or something I should raise as a dispute with the bank?

Any insights would be appreciated.
