Anyone converted SBI Flipkart Credit Card to LTF?

Has anyone here managed to get their SBI Flipkart Credit Card converted into a Lifetime Free (LTF) card? Officially, SBI charges ₹500 annual fee (waived only if you spend ₹3.5L in a year), but I’ve heard some people got it waived permanently after negotiating with customer care or through retention offers.

Would love to know:

Did you request via SBI customer care or branch?

Was it a one-time waiver or permanent LTF conversion?

Any tips or specific wording that worked for you?

Sharing experiences could help others who are trying to avoid the steep spend requirement.

[SK] Credit card points

We are a small construction company who will be moving into supplying our own material. We have been using RBC Avion infinite for our everyday business purchases (approximately $ 5-7k/month) and it’s been fine. But with supplying our own materials it will be more like $45-50k per month. Of course I want to maximize our return via credit card points. We are most interested in travel points but would also consider cash back. What are your recommendations? Also the easier the approval process the better. Paperwork takes up a large chunk of my time so if I can not spend a month on this application that’s fantastic 😂

Best credit card for UPI payments in 2026?

I use UPI for almost all my daily spends now and was thinking of shifting those payments to a RuPay credit card.
Which card are you guys actually using for UPI in 2026?

Looking mainly for good cashback/rewards + low or zero annual fee.

Kiwi, Tata Neu Infinity, Axis SuperMoney or something better?

Would love to know the actual reward rate you're getting, not just what's advertised.

Would you give your credit card to a friend just to help them get an offer?

A friend once asked for my credit card because they had found a ₹2,000 discount that was only available on my card.

Their logic was simple:

“I’ll place the order and transfer the money to you.”

It sounded harmless. I trust them, and they weren't asking to borrow money.

But then I thought — what if the card gets saved somewhere? What if there's a refund issue? Or something goes wrong with the transaction?

Is a ₹2,000 discount worth sharing your credit card details?

What would you do?

A) Give it to a close friend/family member
B) Make the purchase yourself and take the money from them
C) Never share your card, regardless of the offer
D) Depends on the situation

Credit card debt

Hi! I hope it’s okay that I reach out. I’m a 23-year-old single mom working 40-hour weeks and DoorDashing in my free time to make ends meet.

I’ve accumulated about $4,000 in Capital One credit card debt, and the interest has made it really difficult to get ahead while managing bills, my car payment, and everything my son needs.

I know this is a lot to ask, and I completely understand if you can’t help. But if you were willing to help me pay it down, it would truly mean the world to me. I can provide proof of income and anything else needed. I’m just trying my hardest to get back on my feet. 🤍 Thank you for reading.

Which HDFC card should get first - Millennia or Diners Club Privilege?

Hello everyone!

I’m looking to add an HDFC credit card and I’m eligible to get both HDFC Millennia and HDFC Diners Club Privilege as LTF through my company tie-up. I’m confused about which one I should get first.

A little about me:

\- Age: 22

\- CIBIL: 782

\- Monthly salary: ₹1 lakh

\- Current credit cards: Axis, SBI and IndusInd

\- Spending pattern: Mostly shopping

\- Reward preference: Open to cashback or reward points(which gives max return)

\- Lounge access: Not a major requirement

Since both HDFC cards are LTF for me, which one would make more sense considering my existing cards and spending pattern?

Would appreciate recommendations from people who have used these cards. Thanks!

Did Anyone use PB Pass by Paisabazaar?

I recently took BOB Scapia through Paisabazaar app. They said they would offer PB Pass for lounge access.

Any idea how this works and is it like a regular airport lounge or is it different?

Has anyone used it so far? Is it fruitful or just a marketing gimmick?

I'm considering upgrading my Kotak 811 Classic to Kotak 811 Super, which costs 499 P.A. It includes a free Visa Platinum debit card offering 5% cashback, up to 500/month. I'm curious if paying CC bills with this debit card would still qualify for the 5% cashback. Has anyone tried this recently?

Review my credit card portfolio? I feel that I use one of the best credit cards from every bank but still need feedback on what should be discarded and what should be kept since recent devaluations.

  1. HDFC Diners Club Black Metal : Me and my father (add-on) use this as the primary credit card.
  2. Axis Atlas : My father uses this since the edge miles give a really great miles transfer ratio.
  3. AMEX Platinum Travel : Was my primary card before DCBM and mainly use this for Marriot points redemption. But this card is now very much devalued. Don't use it but still paying the fee.
  4. AU Zenith+ : Only use this for lifestyle benefits such as Airport Meet & Greet, BookMyShow BOGO, Free Golf lessons etc.
  5. IndusInd Tiger : Again, one of the best credit cards for beginner. Provides great lifestyle benefits and a free roadside assistance. Don't use it much. It's LTF.
  6. Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card : Don't use it. Sometimes for 5% or 3% cashback on amazon purchases. It's LTF.
  7. YES Bank Elite+: Only use it for 25% off on movie ticket when I am going to the movies alone and use this on offers (YES bank always have offers on sale). It's LTF.
  8. IDFC First WOW Credit Card: It's an FD based credit card which means I manage the limit of this card. Will primarily use this for international payments because of zero forex markup. It's LTF.
  9. IDFC First Select Credit Card : This was a good card back then but it's devalued and useless now. Only keeping it for an upgrade to IDFC First Wealth Credit card in the future. It's LTF.
  10. Axis MyZone : Again, it was a good card back then. Used it for BOGO on movie tickets and 120 off on Swiggy. Don't use it much. Only on offers. It's LTF.
  11. Axis Neo (Rupay): Only use this for UPI payments and sometimes off on Zomato orders. Useless card otherwise. It's LTF.

I spend around INR 25,000 + GST for these credit cards as fee yearly and manage to get some decent returns (never calculated). But do suggest which cards to include in my portfolio and which one should I discard. My usage are mostly on flights, hotels, grocery, shopping, utilities, tax payments and insurances.

looking for a 2-card setup, one for travel/flights, one for online shopping & cashback (24M, 1.2L/month, CIBIL 779)

hi everyone, been lurking here for a while and finally want to upgrade from my beginner card. Planning to apply for two cards, one focused on flights/hotels, and one for everyday online spends and cashback, would appreciate suggestions on what combo makes sense for my spend pattern.

Current card: FD-backed My Zone Easy Credit Card, it has low limit (~40k), got it ~2 years back. Sitting on around 11k Edge points that I haven't redeemed. This is my only cc so far.

Basic details:

  • Age: 24
  • CIBIL: 779
  • Income: ~1.2L/month
  • Employment: Consultant at a startup
  • Existing cards: just the one above

Monthly spends: roughly 25–35k on essentials + online shopping

Top monthly categories:

  1. Gadgets and electronics
  2. Electricity bill (~5k)
  3. Gym and diet stuff (whey, healthy groceries), mostly Blinkit or amazon
  4. Online subscriptions for tools + entertainment
  5. Cafes, food delivery, and grocery runs (grocery mostly offline)

Top annual categories:

  1. Flight tickets, domestic and international
  2. Hotels, Airbnbs, and general spending while travelling
  3. Electricity bills
  4. Groceries and gym supplies
  5. Gadgets and subscription renewals

What I'm looking for:

  • Zero forex markup (I already have a separate forex debit card, but still want this on the credit card)
  • Annual fee around 2k or less, ideally with a fee waiver on spends
  • Good cashback/rewards on online shopping and flight + hotel bookings
  • Decent redemption value if it's a points/miles card, i don't want points that are stuck at 0.20p per point
  • Lounge access, both domestic and international
  • Cashback or reward points, no strong preference, whichever gives better value for these spends

Questions:

  1. What 2-card combo would you recommend here? Open to any bank.
  2. Should I close or keep the FD-backed Axis card once I get an unsecured one? Also, is it worth redeeming the 11k Edge points now or holding?
  3. I am also open to 1 card if i can get all this in a single card, would you recommend that or splitting in 2?

Thanks in advance.

Best credit card for ~₹44L/year GST + Income Tax payments? Prefer something relatively easy to get

Looking for a credit card primarily to get some benefit from my GST and Income Tax payments. I’m not a heavy credit-card user otherwise.
Current cards:
Amazon Pay ICICI
AU Royale CA Credit Card
ICICI Coral RuPay
CIBIL: [775+]
Age: [35]
Employment: Chartered Accountant / Self-employed
Monthly income: [9-10 lakhs]
Major spending pattern:
GST payments: ~₹2 lakh/month (~₹24L/year)
Income Tax/Advance Tax: ~₹20L/year
Other credit-card spending is relatively low
Total tax payments: ~₹44L/year
What I’m looking for:
A card that gives the best net benefit on GST and Income Tax payments, after considering convenience/payment gateway charges.
Cashback, reward points, milestone benefits, etc. are all fine. I’m also okay with a high annual fee if the overall return justifies it.
I have an existing ICICI banking relationship, so an ICICI card may be easier to get. However, I’m open to other banks if the rewards are significantly better.
I’ve seen HDFC BizBlack recommended for tax payments, but I don’t have an HDFC banking relationship and am unsure how difficult it would be to get.
At ~₹44L/year of tax payments, which one or two cards would you recommend?
Would particularly appreciate suggestions from people actually using credit cards for GST/advance-tax payments.

Kiwi asking for ITR/form 16 what to do?

I work as a contract employee, and my CTC is below ₹3 LPA, so I don’t file an ITR and there’s no TDS deducted from my salary.
I’m currently applying for a PNB credit card through Kiwi. They’re asking me to submit either Form 16 or the latest ITR acknowledgement/intimation and said salary slips won’t be accepted.
I joined my current employer in March 2026, so I don’t have a Form 16 yet either.
What can I do in this situation? Can I voluntarily file an ITR even though my income is below the taxable limit and use it for the credit-card application? Or is there any other way around this requirement?

Best cards for Zepto Amazon Pay gift cards and fuel spends after HDFC SmartBuy changes? And debit card / platform for returns on credit-card bill payments

With HDFC SmartBuy no longer offering Amazon Pay gift cards, I’m trying to optimise three areas and would appreciate current, real-world datapoints:

  1. Amazon Pay gift cards via Zepto Which credit cards currently give the best effective return when purchasing Amazon Pay gift cards on Zepto? Please share the card, reward rate/cashback, any monthly caps, exclusions.
  2. Fuel card recommendation I’m considering: Which one makes the most sense today after accounting for fuel surcharge, reward redemption value, monthly spend caps, annual fees, and availability/coverage of partner fuel stations? Approximate fuel spends of ₹10-15k per month.
    • IndianOil XTRAREWARDS
    • SBI BPCL Octane
    • IDFC FIRST Power+ / PowerPlay
  3. Returns on credit-card bill payments Which debit cards and bill-payment platforms still provide meaningful returns for paying credit-card bills? Looking for options that are currently working, along with:
    • Debit card used
    • Platform/app used
    • Effective reward or cashback
    • Caps and payment limits

Please share only recently tested combinations, as many older methods appear to have been devalued or excluded.

Looking for a cashback card to replace HDFC Millennia — SBI Cashback or better alternatives?

I'm looking for advice on optimizing my credit-card setup.
Current CIBIL: ~780+
Age: 30
Monthly Income & Employment: ₹77000
Monthly Expenses & Spending: ~₹50,000 on credit cards

Current Cards & Limits:

  • HDFC Millennia: ₹3,20,000
  • Amazon Pay ICICI: ₹2,90,000
  • Scapia Federal: ₹77,000
  • Jupiter Edge+: ₹30,000
  • Slice: ₹1,15,000

Top Monthly Spend Categories

  1. Amazon
  2. D-Mart / supermarkets
  3. Swiggy / Zomato / dining
  4. Online shopping
  5. Offline shopping / Zudio

Top Annual Spend Categories

Similar pattern, with total card spends around ₹5–6L annually.

Current Situation

I have an LTF upgrade offer from HDFC Millennia → Regalia Gold. I'm considering taking the upgrade for the premium/travel benefits, but then I would lose Millennia's cashback structure.

I applied for HSBC Live+ twice because its cashback categories fit my spending very well, but both applications were rejected. The actual issue was employment/salary verification because my SBI salary-credit narration only shows my own name and not the employer name/Salary.

So I'm now looking for a good cashback replacement for Millennia.

My current first choice is SBI Cashback, partly because my salary account is with SBI, although I'm not sure whether having an SBI salary account actually improves approval chances.

Preferences

Reward Preference: Cashback > reward points
Lounge Access: Not required from this card (I have Scapia and may take Regalia Gold LTF)
Travel: Already covered by Scapia
Other Needs: Strong returns on general online + offline day-to-day spending, with minimal reward optimization/complexity.

I'm considering SBI Cashback, but I'm open to better alternatives.

What would you recommend for my profile? Is SBI Cashback still the best option, or is there another cashback card I should target?

I also hear that it is hard to get approved for citi cards…

Let me know what you think. Thanks!
