what’s up guys! recently got a few items from one of my hauls, so today I’m bringing a review + some thoughts on these RL pieces I picked up.
first off, before buying from 1688 I almost went with repkingdom, but after digging a bit deeper I found some stores on 1688 selling the exact same batch for way cheaper, so that made the decision pretty easy.
prices + shipping: I’m based in Brazil and used an agent to ship these, went with CSSBuy and the package arrived in about 35 days after shipping.
rl zipup: 169 yuan each
rl colored pony quarter zip: 118 yuan each
zipups:
material + sizing: both have a tag saying 85% cotton / 15% polyamide. not sure if that’s 100% accurate, but the material feels really nice, soft and warm. imo better than the ones with like 34% polyester.
for sizing, I’d say TTS but with a more fitted look. I actually like how it sits, it works great with jeans or even sweatpants, kinda like a full tracksuit vibe.
tags + horse embroidery:
neck tag is decent, but compared to retail the font is still a bit thinner. most people won’t notice at all, but if you’re super picky you might catch it. personally I don’t see it as a big flaw since no one’s checking your neck tag irl anyway.
the horse embroidery looks good too, pretty standard for a solid RL rep.
final rating: 9/10 — fair price, good material, great fit and solid details. definitely worth it.
quarter zip:
material + sizing:
also TTS, I wear M and got M. but it fits a bit looser on the body, so if you prefer a tighter fit I’d size down. if you like it more relaxed, TTS is perfect.
material is really nice, 100% cotton and feels great. it’s lightweight with a relatively thin fabric, which is perfect for daily wear here in Brazil since it doesn’t get that cold.
tags + horse embroidery:
tags are standard, good quality but not perfect. same thing as the hoodie, not really a big deal since no one’s inspecting your tag irl.
the horse embroidery is well done, and honestly the best part for me is that it’s colored (main reason I picked this one lol).
final rating: 9/10 — solid pickup, would recommend if you want a good everyday quarter zip and don’t deal with super cold weather.
final thoughts: 1688 is full of opportunities. before buying from yupoo sellers, I highly recommend doing an image search over there. a lot of times you can find the exact same item for way cheaper.

REVIEW MVT Splatter Paint White GATs (March Batch)
What’s up guys! Today I’m going to share some of my impressions after receiving and wearing the MVT splatter GATs. If I’m not mistaken, this is from the second or third restock, and it was sold as an updated batch.
Price and shipping:
Price of the GAT: 449 CNY
I live in Brazil, so I also have to pay for shipping from the Chinese warehouse to my address, plus customs taxes (around 92% of the declared value).
Sizing:
I found the GAT a bit narrow. I usually wear size 42.5 in Nike sneakers, but for GATs I need a size 43 because my foot is a bit wide.
Packaging:
The shoes come with the white MM box, with white lettering, and dust bags to protect the sneakers.
Materials and construction:
The shoe itself is well built. The leather feels solid in terms of quality, and the sole seems a bit stiffer compared to the first batch GATs (I have a black pair at home and compared them).
One issue I had with a first batch pair was that the insole stitching came undone very quickly. However, in this updated batch, that stitching seems to have been reinforced. I’ve worn this pair around 8 times already and it’s still intact, with zero signs of coming apart.
As for the paint, there are still some flaws. Comparing it to a retail pair, I can see that the paint on the original has much less texture, almost blending into the material. On the MVT batch, the paint often sits more raised than it should. Personally, I don’t really mind this, but for more detail-oriented people it could be a noticeable flaw.
Comfort:
Comfort is average. The shoe feels a bit soft because of the thick insole. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the narrower toe box, which can get uncomfortable during long periods of wear. Other than that, I’d say it’s a standard level of comfort.
Conclusion:
Overall, I think it was a solid purchase. The shoe looks good and has decent comfort, and you can tell MVT fixed some of the issues from older batches.
That said, it’s important to mention that these GATs are still far from perfect. There’s still a long way to go before we see a truly perfect batch for MM GATs.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, I’ll try to help.
