Prove me wrong: The Marathwada region of Maharashtra is same developed (both socially and economically) as bihar(equivalent of Bihar)

Now, I know you might argue that Marathwada has cities like Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, but those are just a few places that are doing well economically. The rest of Marathwada is still very underdeveloped (literally equivalent to Bihar)

I want to know more about Maharashtra's politics, what political parties exist in the Political environment and what their exact ideology is.

Also, what type of people vote for these parties and especially why ?
