Should I move to every topside objective?

Today I was playing some draft to learn some champs, and I was playing Sett against Nasus. My jg just started Voidgrubs with no setup, and our mid just bugged out, so it was a 2v3. I thought he would back off, but he didn't listen to my retreat pings, so I felt like I should go help him. My question is, if I know we don't have the tempo to contest an objective and I'm available, should I still try to help my jg or stay in lane?

Im i Overlooking something?

Ok, while rereading i noticed Fang Zheng had the jade skin gu before he reached rank 2, but didn't Gu Yue Bo say he needs to reach rank 2 first to receive it? Or he might have died from Wang Da. I don't know if I overlooked something because the way he said "i have to be impartial and cannot give it to you for no reason, thus I have a condition" didn't sound like receive reward first do task second

Just A thought

Sorry if it sounds irrelevant, but in the early chapters, is it not strange for Fang Yuan to go all in for the liquor worm considering his personality? I thought he would just use the rank 1 Gu from the clan, as that is guaranteed versus the worm. I just wondered if there was a reason behind his gamble.
