I was making Kandi earlier when I got the call I’ve been dreading since my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer over a year ago. Had several missed calls from family and immediately knew my dad passed away. He was doing fine 3 days ago, but apparently he hit the tipping point pretty quickly.

I know everyone in my life has been telling me to just go and have fun and that it will be a great distraction. I tried to listen to their advice, but I just can’t do it tonight. I know my mind is just going to be thinking about my dad the whole time and I’ll just spend most of the night crying and bringing down everyone’s vibe.

I think the worst part is I had gotten word yesterday that he wasn’t doing so good and planned to give him a call or text him, but got caught up with traveling and wasn’t able to get a call or text out. Plus, my dad is the type that didn’t want people fussing over him having a hard time, so I wanted to give him a day to recover before reaching out. I knew the time was close, but didn’t think it would be that close. This morning I sent him a text telling him how much I loved him, but he never got it. He had passed away before he got to see it. I know he knows that I loved him, but missing out on the last time seeing him just makes it sting even more. I’ve never lost someone so close to me in my life before, and it fucking hurts. It seems surreal that I’ll never get to see him in person or talk to him again.

I don’t want to bring anyone’s vibe down, but just wanted to ask all of you beautiful people to throw down extra hard for me and my dad tonight. Also, please don’t be like me and take the time to connect with the loved ones in your life and tell them that you love them every chance you get, because you never know if you’ll get to see or speak to them again. When it happens, you’ll regret it and I don’t wish that on anyone.

The other day someone posted a picture of a model they printed that was a large fear made of hollow gears. The rings in the sphere were all connected and got smaller and smaller. The modes was designed to spin as well. Someone said it took 20 hours to build. I don’t remember which sub it was in, otherwise I’d search for it (still did but couldn’t find it). I’d be grateful is anyone happens to know what I’m talking about lol
