UPDATE: Nothing i studied came up…kinda..
I’m not gunna go into specifics but the questions were weird and really hard. There were some questions about order of draw and tube types but it was only like 10%

So im a biochem major and incoming freshman to UC Merced, im just trying to find out, how hard is it to start a band? and is it worth trying because of studies? how hard is it to maintain good grades while also pursuing a passion!
My number one focus is obviously my studies but i was in a highschool band for 2 years and it was the best time of my life! im trying to bring that energy to Merced, but im not sure if its possible. ASWELL AS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO WANT TO START A BAND ASWELL, it almost seems impossible!

As a 18 yr old guy i want to work at starbucks because it seems so fun to! Only problem is i’ve applied once before and got totally denied… As my senior year of high school ends and i’m more available i feel like trying to apply again seems viable.
I’m currently working at a fast food chain and gained multiple skills that will ready me for the job.
Anyways! i just wanted to know, how do i get hired? should i call the store after i apply? should i just wait and pray? what should i do and how did yall get hired!

So i applied to the honors program mid march and got an email that they’ll send emails out in april…it’s may now and nothing…
I was wondering if people got rejection emails or if people got acceptance emails to this program and should i be worried if i haven’t heard back…

So i’m an incoming freshman to UC Merced and was wondering if i could get single dorm. I tried talking to the housing department but they said i need a medical reason to get one. I hate sleeping with other people (even family) as it causes me to become anxious and i lose sleep cause of it. Would it be possible to get a single dorm or is it out of the question?? And if it is possible what are the steps?
