Looking for advice: stay on my 6'0 fish or move to a midlength?

Hi everyone!

I’m 1.69m, 57kg and currently ride a 6'0 Flowt fish (3 fins, 38L).

I’ve been surfing for a while but inconsistently. About 3 weeks ago I started training with video analysis and I’m improving. A few weeks ago I tried a 7'6" and had so much fun on it , easier wave catching and I really enjoyed the feeling of the board.

Unfortunately, for financial reasons, I can only own one board.

I live in Lisbon/Carcavelos, Portugal, and I’m wondering whether I should:

stay on the 6'0 and progress towards shortboarding, or

move towards a midlength (around 7'0–7'6) and develop more of a glide/flow style.

What are the main differences in terms of progression, wave catching, turning and overall surfing style? And which direction would you recommend for my size, level and local waves?

Thanks

Billabong Revolution 4/3 (€160) vs HyperFreak (€280) vs waiting for a Flashbomb?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from people who have used these wetsuits.

I can get a Billabong Revolution Natural 4/3 (women's) through my surf school for €160, which seems like an amazing deal.

I can also get an O'Neill HyperFreak (women's) 4/3 for around €280.

The other option is to wait for sales and try to buy a Rip Curl Flashbomb 4/3.

The thing is... I'm always cold in the water, especially during winter sessions in Portugal, so warmth is my top priority. I still want a suit that's comfortable and flexible, but staying warm matters most.

If you were in my position, what would you choose?

- Billabong Revolution Natural 4/3 for €160

- O'Neill HyperFreak 4/3 for €280

- Wait for a Rip Curl Flashbomb on sale

Is the Flashbomb really worth waiting (and paying more) for, or is the Revolution at €160 too good a deal to pass up?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

Should I switch to a midlength like a Torq 7'2 or 7'0? Right now I surf a Flowt 6'0 (38L) and honestly I love this board
