Hello lovely people of this sub, I'm 23 F, a Hindu and I've been into worshipping our pantheon of gods ever since I was a child. But the thing is I have followed this proper puja rituals and everything at home, since there's a dedicated pooja room and everything, since everyone in my family is religious. Ever since i shifted to hostel for my studies, pooja for me only consists of lighting a diya, some incense sticks, etc. in front of the idols. I've been maintaining this for 5 years now after I started living away from home, but recently I've been feeling the urge to make more additions to my daily spiritual practice, but I'm really confused as to how I can go about that, given the limited space in my hostel room.

For context, I'm a worshipper of Shakti, but my mother has given me a beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha to keep in my hostel room, since she believes worshipping maa kali requires a lot of sincerity and dedication (cleanliness, daily offerings, etc.) which I might not be able to handle daily given my hectic schedules and exams. But I really want to keep a picture of maa kali, and also maybe a shiv ling in my altar.

Can someone please guide me as to what i should do right now, and what things i should purchase or start doing to make my daily spiritual rituals more fulfilling?

(Also idk if this is the right place to write this, but I've been feeling a presence in my hostel lately, and some of the other girls have also reported to feeling the same considering it's a government hostel and some unfortunate incidents did take place here previously. So I'm trying to find out ways to protect my space and peace by myself since the authorities won't do anything about it)

Hi girlies, how do you fix or prevent lip pigmentation, especially the ones caused by smoking? I really need a fix, though my lips aren't that pigmented, but i would definitely want to take better care of them and undo the pigmentation.

I'm 23 F, pursuing my masters right now. On paper, my academics look good but deep down, i just feel like I'm not educated in the truest sense. I just get this Naina Talwar syndrome, I've only ever read academic books and sometimes cheesy fiction to curb my boredom. And the FOMO hits real hard when I see women my age all around me being so headstrong, having opinions of their own be it political, geopolitical, or historical. Deep down, I just wish I was like them, but all I know is my own subject. I really want to start educating myself on these matters, but I'm not sure where to start. To the women of this sub, what will be ONE thing that you would definitely teach your younger self if given the chance to go back in time? It could be related to anything- personal life, career, finances, etc.

For me personally, if given the chance, I would tell mt younger version to live a little and that life is not always about getting good grades and making your parents proud. It's okay to do things that make you happy, even if that does not make you the 'traditional good girl' that society wants.

I think our advice is going to help someone out there, or maybe make their day feel a little better, we never know! So let's share our thoughts ❤️
