Wondering if its too late.

Hi everyone. Male 30, turning 31 this year. To start off, it isn't all about the money, but it does help of course...

I'm starting with Pre-Health, then my BScN then NP (which requires 2 years FT work as a RN). So totally 9 years for NP.

Essentially I'd much rather be a doctor of Psychology, and that will take roughly 13-14 years.

With doing my NP route ill be 39, turning 40, making salary of $120-150k... working for 25 years..

Or graduate with a PhD of Psychology at 45, making $270k-400k+ working 20-25 years.

Regardless im doing my BScN/NP (possibly MLT) and that'll net me 9 years...

Is it too late to say F it, and just go for the extra 5 years?

Genuinely curious and serious....

Thank you for all your input.

Please be kind, as I said, its not all about the money, the goal is a rewarding career both financially and empathically.

Fitness Centre

Hey all.

I was just curious about the fitness centre.

Questions are:

[ ] Is it super busy/packed?

[ ] Is the facility large or small?

[ ] Is the facility clean? Or have a bad odor?

[ ] How are the men's changerooms?

[ ] Are there showers/lockers?

[ ] Are they private or open?

[ ] Are the machines new or old?

[ ] Do they have a variety of machines?

[ ] What does it all offer? Are there other recreational activities/facilities?

Thank you!

OSAP/Tuition Q

Hey everyone, so my OSAP finally updated funding, but does not show tuition amount, just 1st and 2nd installment amounts.

Will the tuition be deducted from these amounts? OR is this the amount granted AFTER their tuition calculation?

This was not made clear, at all.

Thank you.

Curious about A.I

Soooo as the title says, I'm curious about AI. I have seen and heard that now-a-days colleges use a lot of A.I, and i did NOT grow up with that tech...

What and how much is used and what are the best apps etc that are used???

I am aware or subscriptions etc.

UPDATE: NOT for assignment help, but STUDY purposes.

Thank you!

Curious about selecting Time-Table

So I was sent an email to register, choose courses etc.

But when I open the course selection this is what pops up (photo above).

Is it just because the fall semester is too far away still or?????

30 yo/Male starting in the fall for Pre-Health.

Hey all, im a 30, turning 31 year old male, starting Pre-health in the fall, following the BScN path the next fall.

Is anyone else starting the same path or similar age?

Looking to make friends or maybe a workout buddy.

Also very excited but nervous and just looking to be social!

I am engaged to my partner (also male, so if you or your religion doesn't align, then we probably won't friend-match.)

I'm not very effeminate, I'm kind, but very straight forward, and used to be a Jock, sprots, triathlons, etc, if that helps haha.( I have let go over the years, badly. Im now heavy set.) I like sports and wouldnt mind joining a sport or type thing with people.

Open to male and female friends, straight or gay i dont care. I have a very small circle of friends, mainly pertaining of people from back home, and have greatly moved apart.

This is my life now, and I plan to eventually get my MScN for Nurse Practioner.

Anyone else with similar life goals, doesnt have to be the same program, that we can connect and just make life or school easier for one another and hopefully bond and gain friendship further afterward would be awesome.

Don't be shy! And Goodluck all on your future endeavours!

Hi all, question about Durham Uni of Tech for BScN

Hi all, so my partner and I live in Durham, and I will be taking my BScN next fall potentially spring if im ambitious, and its the only school I have access too.

Anyone who has taken BScN here, can you please share your experience? How were the class rooms, lecture halls and professors!

Also are the class rooms strictly within the UofTech building or at the College campus as well.

Thank you! - please add any details you may find necessary.

Transferring from Pre-Health to BScN

Hi everyone, I'm a 30, going on 31, Male, this fall, decided to go back to school. I decided my best option is taking Pre-Health Advance Diplomas and Degrees as it will give me a well-balanced refresher for sciences, math's, and computer.

I decided I will be taking my BScN, or Med Tech Sciences, mostly BScN and the other is a backup.

Now.... I will be starting in September for pre-health, but the BScN will not be starting til the following September.

My question is for ANYONE who took this route. HOWWWWW did you apply and get an offer for BScN, when the course isn't over until April, and application deadlines are (I think, May?)????

I'm just kind of scared I dont want to have to pro-long and push off BScN school even further than September if the application and dates dont align.

I've been screaming on the inside with anxiety with this.

PLEASE HELP. Thank you 🥺

Hey all, so ive worked as a PSW in the past, and im not a massive fan of bedside care in terms of pericare.

Though I know in nursing I will have to do if periodically, and depending on my speciality. (Also plan to advance to NP). So its only temp, but I was wondering, during the study period and during the placement settings, how often do the students perform pericare or brief changes etc?

Please no hate, just curious !
