Looking for dolls from European collectors — checklist inside

European collectors, I’m looking for dolls in box and in good condition.

Some dolls may also be considered out of box:

SDCC Frankie SteinRochelle Goyle Haunted
Rochelle Goyle Freak Du Chic
Garrott Du Roque
Magician’s Assistant
Hoodude Voodoo
Puma Man Create-a-Monster
Clawdeen Wolf Fierce Rockers
Catty Noir Fierce Rockers

I can promise your dolls a loving collector’s home and excellent storage conditions.

If you have any of these dolls and are considering selling, please feel free to message me — even if you’re not 100% sure yet. I’d be happy to discuss!

The dark side of completionism in doll collecting

This community often criticizes people for disliking an expensive or rare doll but still not wanting to sell it. As if buying it “wasted” someone else’s chance to own their dream doll. So here’s a post where you can talk about those contradictory feelings without shame.

I own the entire Sweet Screams collection. I absolutely love Frankie. Twyla is actually one of my favorite dolls in my collection overall. Ghoulia’s feels visually overloaded to me, Draculaura irritates me with this strangely flat, soulless stare — like a doll with no charisma at all. Abbey, on the other hand, feels the most psychedelic to me, and even though I’m not obsessed with her, I think her design is one of the most unusual Monster High designs ever made.

And yet… I can’t bring myself to “split” the collection. I’m afraid that the moment I sell some of them, I’ll instantly want them back.

I’ve mostly recovered from total completionism with newer releases, but this set was bought early in my collecting journey, so even partially parting with it feels painful.

So here’s my questions:

Tell me about dolls you sold and felt relieved afterward.
Tell me about dolls you got rid of and then deeply regretted — so much that you bought them again.
What’s the most “I can’t sell it, but I don’t even love it” doll in your collection?
Do you actually love the doll… or just the rarity?
What irrational collecting decision are you still defending?

In this world of “perfect collectors,” let’s also share stories about collecting decisions, emotional attachments, and purchases that made absolutely no logical sense.

When you expect a “dark, sinful angel” for your Monster High shelf, but he turns out to be a fragile, sad boy…

I collect Monster High (and some dolls inspired by horror movies) and absolutely adore my girls. At some point I decided they needed a “big boy” — almost like a guardian of the collection. I imagined him as the central figure in my display cabinet surrounded by my Monster High girls.

So I bought Fallen Angel Lucifer by Ringdoll. In the promo photos he looked dark, dramatic and intense. But in real life he feels completely different to me — more like a fragile, sad boy. He’s beautiful on his own, but somehow the vibe just doesn’t work with my collection.

He’s also huge, with giant wings, and not very easy to display. In the end, he’s mostly been sitting in his box for a long time.

Have you ever had a doll that was objectively beautiful, but completely didn’t fit your collection, and yet you still didn’t want to part with it? What did you end up doing with it?

To the owners of the Barbie Enchanted Mermaid doll: does she come in two versions — white and yellow? Or is the yellow color just discoloration from age, since the doll is from 2001?

I’ve seen different photos online and I’m trying to understand which one to buy. In the last two photos, the mermaid even seems to have brown rhinestones.

I’d really appreciate any help!
