Hi everyone. I was laid off on May 15th due to organizational restructuring, and it's been a rough month and a half since. I've been upskilling and applying nonstop, but barely hearing back from anyone.
The few responses I have gotten have mostly been from companies abroad, mainly the Middle East. I'm a software developer (Angular/Next.js/Nest), and I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look at my CV and tell me if something's off.
Separately, I've also been doing cold outreach on LinkedIn trying to land freelance projects, but no luck there either.
Any feedback or pointers would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

You're laid off from a senior position. The bills are stacking with every passing day and then you see this....
Lifted my old adeniums and unearthed absolute units! Pruned afterwards
Hi, just wondering about the future for jobs/job interviews with regards to AI.
For context, I have about 4 years of experience with software development, specifically frontend technologies. My current company has fully embraced AI and I personally really love using it because of the productivity gains.
What I've been wondering lately is whether this will somehow affect my employability in the long run, since I've grown so reliant on the use of AI that some of my problem-solving skills seem to be rusty.
The thing is that using AI technology has made me proficient in several other types of programming and I've basically become a full stack programmer.
What I'm worried about is whether this will somehow hinder me in the interview process where the use of AI isn't allowed.
I need recommendations for a 1 ton and a 1.5 ton inverter AC.
I currently have a 1.5 ton Dawlance Econo X and have had a very good experience with itamd it’s been around 3–4 years now. So my default choice would be Dawlance again.
However, I’ve been hearing really good things about Midea lately, so I wanted to get more input from you guys before deciding.
Looking for something:
- Energy efficient (electricity bills matter 🥲)
- Reliable long-term
- Good cooling performance in Karachi heat
Would appreciate recommendations (and specific models if possible).
Please note that o have a solar so bijli is free during the day
