I made the mistake of signing out of TB on one Android TV app (begins with S) earlier, thinking it might help me during today’s meltdown. However, if I now try and sign in using the QR code on the same Android app (S), the TB authorisation page on my phone doesn’t prompt for credentials. I’ve made sure I’m logged in as think that assists. Tearing my hair out now as can’t I can’t get TB authorised on Android TV.

Update-think TB is active and working on other apps, just not the one I want.

Have set up the device and all working well. I use it with Projectivity Launcher, but can’t navigate to my favourites after creating them. They are obviously hidden somewhere but searched high and low to no avail. I don’t think it’s the launcher as no such problem on other Android devices.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Ordered 12 month sub of + on phone. Then get email from “Premium Key” with instructions and a pay ref for Webmoney. Unfortunately, the process to top up purse has overwhelmed me. Initially tried bank account but went around in circles. Then bank card but screen says “currency of card” is USD. I’m not in US, and can’t find a way to change that, or any settings at all in the WM app. The other payment options are equally mind boggling. My order is pending but I currently have no way to pay for it.

Is there an idiots’ guide to help me cut to the chase

I can’t get past this TMDB error:

Failed to validate TMDB API Key/Access Token: Got HTTP error during validation, ensure a valid access token or API key was set: 401 - Unauthorized

I’ve tried Viren/Elf/MidnightforWeebs…

I’ve even reapplied for a new api but no dice. I’ve read it can sometimes be attributed to the email used in the creation process. I’ve used outlook.com, which has been fine previously. Also ref to api within Viren setup but don’t know how to manage that.

I want to change router settings to 1111. (I have Asus TUFAX6000) I log into router, go to WAN, try to manually assign dns and save, but it just reverts back to one assigned by internet provider. The options are there in WAN settings, including Adguard, Google, Quad9 but it doesn’t work when you try to set configure your own.

The only odd thing about my setup is that the Asus is connected to another router provided by the ISP. Need latter for landline. Assuming it’s still the Asus I need to tweak.

Sorry if this obvious but can you demystify two aspects of the AIO creation process.

I used Tamtaro’s template in the midnight version and successfully entered my Torbox api. Installed to Stremio and Nuvio and all seems to be good.

1. If I go back to the page where I completed the AIO install (Tamtaro) and enter my password, I get my UUI. I naively thought the various settings (resolution, cache, filters) shown against that configuration would reflect the Tamtaro template saved? However, when I navigate to those sections, they all seem to be blank. The only thing I can see is Torbox enabled in the list of services. Is that right?

2. If I go to main AIO Midnight page and attempt to “log in” using UUI and password previously created, I get invalid UUID or password. Any idea why this is?

I’m trying to restore a back up file to a second device. Know there’s lots of techniques suggested but still struggling.

Have set up smb folder and network file sharing in Win 11 and then added ip address in set up in Tivimate settings in Android device. However, when you get to the v end of the process, Tivimate doesn’t see the smb folder. it says “no folders to show, system may be restricting access”..

I’ve tried three different folder locations in Windows and turned Norton firewall off on the laptop.

(My lap top is about six months old and running Windows 11)

I’ve also tried rs file manager on the Android to try and move file to a connected usb. (To see if I can add that to the smb folder on laptop and then get that recognised by the second device) Got stuck with that, too. Only seem to be able to manoeuvre within the Android settings. Finally, rs wouldn’t let me copy and paste to One Drive.

Can’t just be just me?

Guess I can’t trust either, and need to navigate to the legit version, wherever that is.

Apologies if this already been answered. Downloaded app onto Android TV, created new account, selected option to subscribe to Premium for one year, followed screen prompts to complete purchase-signed into same gmail account on another device on web etc, but then got above message instead of being able to complete purchase.

Do I have to wait for ordinary account to be established before upgrading?
