Here’s my completed page for the June scavenger hunt. I collected junk from each day. For July i’m going to alternate between red, white and blue junk.
the page had instructions to use sticky items, glue, honey, gum, a marshmallow. I was feeling adventurous and used glue and honey. Friends, learn from my mistakes. glue and honey are sticky sticky and it “travels “ on the page. lol. the book itself is sticky now. it’s in the garage thinking about what’s it’s done. lol. does anyone think the honey will dry hard? lol.

There was an important (to me) event tonight and between the mental drain of a lot of people expected to be there and 100° temps, I just couldn’t do it. I’m very disappointed in myself. I have been prepping for two weeks. All for nothing. I really feel like a loser. I’m on new meds, Vrylar and lexapro. It’s been a month and a half. I guess i’m expecting miracles. I’m really just a loser.

It’s been a long time since i’ve been so silly with a book. I would definitely recommend this page/book to everyone i pass on the street. btw, a soaking wet cotton ball really flies 😂😂😃🤣

This is Loki and he loves my paper trimmer. I try to wait till he’s sleeping but the paper trimmer makes the slightest squeak, he comes running every time

This is the May junk journal scavenger hunt I created. This journal is made from brown paper lunch bags. the working area is 12 1/2” X 26” so each month I have to use creativity to get as much surface area as i can. The matchbook i turned into a note book. Here’s the items I found. *M words for May*: Mandalorian (&Grogu), mustard, monster, mail, matchbook, muffin, map, magic, Mother’s Day, movie, maple leaf, mouse, meow, Mario, moo, mask, Mcdonald’s, music, monkey, mail box, makeup, mac &cheese, mushrooms, &moon.
I wanted to share incase anyone wants inspiration. And I think my family is tired of me “making” them look at it. lol. In a few years I think my grandson will get enjoyment from this book.
Does anyone else do monthly junk journal scavenger hunts? It’s something I started in December because I saw a post that had the items to be found. I enjoyed it very much and continued on. I had a hard time finding prompts for April so i came up with an A-Z hunt. But the ones I find for May are a bit “ boring”, lots of florals and such. I’m wondering if anyone has a list for May that’s unique and a bit more interesting.
