External CVT Cooler filters cheap Chinese versions vs OEM.

I have a 2013 Maxima, but interested on opinions from Altima owners as well, and those with different looking filters as it's basically the same difference.

I noticed the OEM filter is around $50, and I saw the cheapest Chinese version is about $20.

I've seen people on Reddit say to make sure and change it, but I've seen people saying they never have, just change the fluid and it's working out fine for them.

The reviews on the chinese filter seem to be pretty good, one person uploaded a pic of the chinese vs oem and they said they think the cheap one is fine. Mostly 5 star reviews, one person left a 3 star and said "it fits" but didn't say anything more.

A 2003 Silverado that sits most of the time, how bad is it, and how often should I change the oil, etc.

I've got a 2003 Silverado, that I don't drive daily, or much at all. It's pad off, and I mostly use it to haul stuff to the dump once a year, and I have it in case I need to drive in the winter snow, since my Maxima has all season tires and is pretty bad in the snow.

It seems I only put maybe 300 miles on it per year. It has 200K miles on it, and runs like a top, besides the semi rough 1-2 gear shift which is typical for this truck and I don't care enough about it to drop the transmission pan and replace the thingy in it, the fluid is still pretty new in the tranny so I'd wait until the next time I change it to consider that. Which at this rate might be a long long time.

I mainly have 2 questions, and I am looking to hear from people with real world experience with similar circumstances.

  1. How often should I change the oil; currently has Supertech 5w30 synthetic in it, and i last changed it 2 years ago.

  2. Should I worry about the gas in it? I keep 1/4 tank of 87 regular and yes there is Ethanol in it. So far it hasn't been a problem, but it hasn't always sat like this since we used to drive it more often.

Google says the oil should be changes once a year, I should drive it every 2 weeks, and if I let it sit I should keep the tank full of non ethanol fuel.

So is it really true the oil is getting bad sitting like that, and is this 1/4 tank of gas that I use annually gonna go bad and mess up the fuel system and.or injectors?

I've seen some people did a UOA and the oil was good as new even sitting for 3 years.

Did some maintenance on my 13 Maxima with 133K on it

I've had this 2013 Maxima since 2016, had about 70-80K on it when I bought it, now has 133K on it. Unknown maintenance history, never asked them. Maybe I will call the dealership and see if they have any records on it, I got it used at a Chevy Dealership.

All I've done up until today was oil changes, 1 battery and 1 set of tires.

Today I removed 4 quarts of the old transmission fluid (shifts and drives perfect, BTW) and replaced it with 4 quarts of Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal fluid. I used a hand fluid removal pump that I already had from Harbor Freight, to take the old fluid out of the transmission since I only wanted to remove 1 gallon. That way I could use that gallon of Castrol and not buy extra quarts. Plus it's so nice not having to crawl underneath the car to do a fluid change. Maybe I will do this annually for a few years to get the transmission fluid cleaner over time.

I also changed the air filter which was moderately dirty. Getting the Fram filter in the box and closing it is a little challenging, the rubber on the filter might be a bit too thick. I read the K&N fits better, but oh well. Maybe next time.

I could feel a slight difference from the air filter at low speeds, accelerates just a touch quicker.

As far as the transmission, it drives exactly the same so far, but I only went a few miles. I haven't needed to go anywhere yet, and don't want to waste gas to just do a test drive besides a short one. Will drive some more and edit the post with the results.

Another Tongkat Ali Post; comparing all the different types you've tried and what were the results?

I'm 56 yr old male, with Multple Myeloma and Hypothyroidism, previously had lung cancer.

I find Tongkat Ali gives me energy and I like it. I notice acute effects, gets me amped just taking it one time.

I have a few types;

Bronson Brand, which is a very small dose but yet it does seem to work. It's a 25:1 with only 24MG per capsule. (Interesting thst such a small amount of only 25:1 works so good).

200:1 from 2 different companies. Also seems to work. Are all the 200:1 extracts the same stuff?

I bought 1lb of Bulk Supplements so i can make my own capsules, that just says Tongkat Ali Extract, doesn't specify an extract ratio. Haven't tried it yet, since i need to make the capsules still.

I see Piping Rock/Carlyle also sell a small cap that's 20:1 that gets good reviews. Gonna buy some, haven't yet.

The other types:

LJ100; is this stuff any good?

Nootropics Depot has what; 3 different types? 1 of them actually makes people feel relaxed; what's the point in that one BTW?

I'm interested in hearing all the types you've tried and your comparisons of them. Not sure if i should spend $30 on LJ100, if the lower price types are effective. Should I?

Check your airport flight status to confirm; these are not commercial passenger jets

It's been quite obvious to me since 2010 that these planes spraying are not passenger jets going from one airport to another, yet many on this sub claim they are.

It's quite simple to prove they are not passenger jets by looking at the local airport flight status o their website.

Now it's even more obvious to me, because all the flights are done by the early afternoon.

Yet I see planes doing the chemtrail thing up until early evening, just before dark.

Check in your area and see how the flight status of inbound and outbound flights compares to all the planes you see with massive plumes of white clouds out of them, which the passenger planes are NOT doing,

Make a new thread posting your results.
