Question from someone who took part in their first MMA class.

Yesterday, as is customary for my Muay-Thai group to do on holidays, we trained MMA. It was my first time actually doing so, and we went through the basics. Skipping the boring stuff, we had the armbar practice, and it seems like I don't have a lot of pain in that area as, once it was fully locked in, I could not feel much other than a little pinch.

BUT—I did hear a little pop in my elbow, and it's been hurting since today morning.

I can still move it around, I can support my weight, do planks, push-ups, allat stuff without dying. I'm just asking before my medical check-up scheduled this Friday if I have anything to be scared, like, losing my arm or something. That'd be a bit detrimental and quite bothersome, so I'd like to avoid that.

If it's chronic pain, it's not that bad. I live in Brazil anyway, so physical suffering is nothing compared to the emotional and mental aspect of having to live here. If it helps in any way; I am not NEW to martial-arts. I've got a little over a year of Sanda and a few months of Muay-Thai, I just like striking more, and figured the best place to ask was an MMA-related sub, as r/bjj does not allow medical questions.

In any case, thank you all in advance.

Peace, and much love.

The leap in quality between what Janitor is capable of doing, compared to the most basic CSS/HTML on ST is crazy work.

Especially now that Gemini 3.1 is for less than 20 tokens flat on LiteRouter.

Had my first ever fight at 21. Placed second in the state tournament of Sanda. Bonus pic of everyone in my team.
