I’m a newly self employed gas engineer this year and a couple times a week I’ll get a text message

“hey you’ve been recommended by so and so, please could you give me a ring to look at my boiler”

Why create the extra step for me? Like I need to be chasing work?

I don’t know why but I find it slightly offensive and annoying. If you want your boiler looking at, you ring me! Isn’t that how business works??

is this normal behaviour?

Abybody else pay for the steam machine solely with account credit earnt from item drops in games?

I dropped a couple CSGO Cobblestone cases and bought a couple in 2014 & 2015 and held onto them since in the hopes that valve would release hardware again.

10 years later these cases are now worth £1500~ each. completely paid for my 2TB + controller machine I’ve always been an item hoarder in games but Jesus christ it paid of insanely with my CSGO items
