Do you think tog/acotar inspired fourth wing?

Video above is Rebecca Yarros stating her love for Rowan and the throne of glass series and how she re-reads it annually(obviously an older clip).

Reading fourth wing right after my tog re-read and the similarities between the two are stark SJM didn’t create the concept of wyverns or wingleaders but heir of fire I do believe was the key inspo for fourth wing. Manon and the witches entire storyline is reminiscent to the parapet, the war games and the lore between the two regarding the wyverns. Not to mention some of the names like Imogen, Rhiannon, Quinn, sorrel, Sloane , fen, Brennan/brannon that’s all I can recall from memory overlapping in both series. I mean even the best scene of Abraxos includes him sniffing violets. Some places are reminiscent of tog (eretia/arteria). To me the entire storyline of the venin is super similar to the valg and even the Wyrdkeys/wardstones. I will not die today is a direct parallel to I will not be afraid. Xaden and Asterin are both described as having gold flexed onyx eyes and I always felt the scene when rowan stops Aelin from experiencing burnout is the exact same as Xaden anchoring Violet when she was experiencing it too with both describing the powers as wells with their ice/shadow magic stabilising their partners powers.

Not to mention everything between Rhysand (who Rebecca Yarros is a big fan of) and Xaden. This isn’t meant to start an argument I always see people talk about the direct influences of SJM’s works but what isn’t discussed is her influence on current romantasy. Key authors of books like spark of the ever flame, When the moon Hatched, road of bones, the bridge kingdom, book of azriel etc are all written by authors who started of as SJM fans (I checked online they participated in the fandom).

Fourth wing is massive and will only increase in cultural influence with its show adaptation and that’s a good thing for the genre. Obviously the launch of red tower was to latch onto the growing genre trend and they increased that tenfold with FW launch.

Thoughts I’m i crazy is there more similarities I’m missing, I usually see posts about how similar acotar/tog is to other works and not the other way round when it’s so clearly present in modern fantasy romance books.

SJM’s team halts large AI account with millions of impressions of her works from creating ACOTAR content

There’s rampant use of AI for her works it’s interesting she’s only now cracking down on the accounts in the lead up to ACOTAR 6 perhaps pertaining to a movie/show deal?

When do you read The Threshing in the Empyrean series?

Just practising cause I guarantee we will see these posts in the future. Some people will want to read the story chronologically, perhaps even in tandem with Book 1 or right after reading Fourth Wing. Also, Yarros has clearly stated its importance leading up to book 4, so I'm sure whatever is released means the publication order will be the right one.

Don't take this too seriously, just having some fun.

FW author’s favourite series of all time is ACOTAR?

I may have stalked RY’s insta feed too hard and found this thought it was interesting since ACOTAR and FW are the biggest book series in the romantasy space and I’m personally a fan of both. Do with this information whatever you wish I guess. (I’m ready for downvotes since ppl will assume ill intent)
