Is Texas a good state to be in while waiting for immigration status to be resolved?

I have some flexibility in where I can live in the US while my immigration case is being processed. Someone told me state matters for certain benefits and processing offices. Is there any practical advantage or disadvantage to being in Texas specifically during this process?

feedback on the new customer discovery channel that most businesses aren't measuring

Writing this for small business owners who are trying to understand where customers come from. AI tools like chatGPT and Perplexity are increasingly being used to research products and services. When a potential customer finds you through one of these tools and visits your site, GA4 usually records it as direct ; which means you can't connect the visit to the AI tool that drove it. I wasn't expecting to find much, but the data was pretty eye opening once I had a proper breakdown. It's one of those small wins that makes a real difference in day-to-day decision making. I use zen reports to segment AI traffic from GA4, and it's changed how I think about my marketing mix. If you're actively trying to grow, this is a channel worth understanding.

What's the best picture you've taken when you traveled to Tibet?

I witnessed some of the most breathtaking scenery, standing there, it felt quiet and untouched, like the world had slowed down for a moment.

How much should solar installation REALLY cost?

I’ve been looking into getting solar for my house and I’m trying to get a realistic idea.

For context:

Single-family home

Average electric bill around $150–$200/month

Hot climate (Phoenix, AZ), so AC runs a lot

Roof gets good sun exposure most of the day

Haven’t done any energy audit or efficiency upgrades yet

Got a quote from Intelligent Design Solar for around $21k for a ~7kW system.

Does that sound about right or am I getting overpriced?

Treating myself to a new look before Mother’s Day

Even though I’m already a mom of two, I still love putting together cute looks, so I wanted to share this new wig look I recently got. I hope every mom remembers to be a little kinder to themselves too 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in this community!

Which suppliers have been the most consistent for you?

In this post i would like to share my personal experience and hear from others who have been researching peptides longer than I have. one of my close friends suffers due to skin problems like acne and redness What surprised me most was how difficult it has been to find suppliers that actually feel trustworthy and consistent. i would like to hear from people with actual experience researching peptides from reliable suppliers.

Is there anyone having reliable peptide source please helps me to find the right one.

My bestie is getting married! She knew exactly what she wanted but had no idea where to get it made. I did some digging and found Aiminia Jewelry through an old Reddit review (can’t find the post now, sadly)

We collaborated remotely with their designers, who consistently demonstrated immense patience regarding the various fine-tuning requests we put forward. The ring turned out exactly as she had envisioned—a 3-carat oval lab-grown diamond set in an 18K yellow gold band.

She’s over the moon, and I’m just the proud “stylist.”Sharing here because I know how hard it is to find a trustworthy vendor for custom work. Don’t have all the spec details, but I can try to ask her if you have questions. Just wanted to share a happy success story!

I am trying to take better care of my skin this year but I’m on a bit of a budget. Are there any local spots in San Marcos that have good monthly memberships or maybe some solid first timer deals? I’m looking for high quality but I can’t exactly drop a fortune every single month. I’d love to hear where the locals go when they want to look good without breaking the bank.

I'm spending $400-500/month on GLP-1s, so I thought that I might as well get something back. Here’s the system I went with and I kinda want to hear your thoughts as well.

  1. Amex Blue Cash Preferred: 6% back at grocery stores (I buy gift cards for my telehealth provider there first)
  2. Citi Custom Cash: 5% back on my highest spend category (online pharmacy)
  3. Chase Freedom rotating categories: 5% back on drugstores when it's in rotation

Last quarter I got $67 cash back on my GLP-1 spending which is not huge I know, but it's free money, so a win win anyways. Also if you’re paying out of pocket, what cards are you personally using? I know this is pretty niche but every dollar counts especially with how expensive things are right now and the state of the world being the way it is and the drugs themselves costing a lot.
