Good morning, my fellow Bangladeshis,

I have a question regarding some land transfer going to my father’s name about before that I will tell you the whole story of it.

I am a male 35 years old born in London to Bangladesh parents. My whole paternal site including two aunts two uncles and my father have gone back to sell it to transfer some property, basically lands in their name so that they may pass onto the children when the time comes..

My father just contacted me regarding fees to transfer into his name and has asked for roughly 1300 British pounds.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Bangladeshi land transfer laws, nor fees so I am very confused about this

My father has had some distrusting nature to him where he also attempted to take over and claim his siblings land hence why they have all gone there now.

If someone could please greatly update and inform me whether such large fees are normal or even require required during land transfer?

For any further information, he does have a second family with two additional sons and two additional daughters while I myself only have four younger sisters. There is also a chance he has married a young relative as his third wife.

I eagerly await everyone’s response as this matter is very confusing for those of us who do not live in Bangladesh but we do have a connection to the land where we hope to 1 day live in our motherland

Edit: the land is only 0.24 acres in size so not massive but not small either

As the title said, Apple HomeKit doesn’t minimise my indoor cameras to your picture and picture as I used to be before,

I’m not sure if anyone has come across this, but I thought I’d let you know before it becomes mainstream. I am not running any betas so this is weird. Maybe it’s a glitch on the new update.

So I’ve basically come to the point where I’m not worried but thinking what’s the best way to pay off my Amex card and some other debt.

Some points to be known

1. First year amex gold holder with a balance of roughly £4800 making monthly minimum payments (around £700pm) but also using it to pay my rent as well as travel to and from work costing an additional £400 so making the minimum payment basically moot since it’s still being used for essentials

2. Barclaycard Avios which has £800 to be paid off but is getting paid £50 per month via DD but also has a money transfer but 0% interest until January 2028 so total debt on that is £3800 but I have also balance transferred an previous amount of roughly £2500 to a 0% balance transfer card which I am paying £180 pm until it’s paid off then cancelling the balance transfer card but this isn’t really a priority as it is being paid off til fully
   Paid off.

My goal atm is to completely pay off the Amex card if possible then cancel it so I don’t have to use it for rent and travel as my expenditures are around £1250 (rent £183 pw, train to work £400 pm and other essentials such as internet and phone contract £20)

I earn around £2100 pm after deductions and my main issue or confusion to be more accurate is how to best pay the Amex off with either consolidation debt or a balance transfer card?

I’ve looked at my options and the loan seems more feasible as ClearScore has shown me the best rate I can find so far at 15% (not amazing but not terrible either atm)

£4600 at 15% for 2 years with monthly repayments of £221.13.

Would I be mad to go for this? I don’t think I’ve missed anything but please feel free to ask

I’ve been looking into collecting favourite films and TV shows via digital libraries mainly Apple iTunes since im a diehard Apple fan boy.

Upon browsing of the CheapCharts app (the app used to track pricing of all itunes content) i found that despite many of the doctor who the collection content being readily available on Blu-ray world wide, there’s only the 1 collection of season 12 with Tom baker on Apple iTunes mainly the uk branch.

Someone please help me understand if this is simply a licensing thing and I should just give up cos at this time, being a classic doctor who fan seems like a hard chore than enjoyable in these day and age.
