hey everyone, i've been on spiro nearly 4 months now, first two minth 50mg then 100mg after (was meant to take 50 for 3 months but i accidentally had been taking 100) it was going so well but since september started i've been breaking out loads again on one side of my chin loads of closed comedones and breakouts, also closed comedones on forehead. is this like another purge or something? i feel like i got my hopes up 😓

Idk what to do!! i have been on spiro for two months and was meant to be on 50mg for 3 months then up to 100, but ive just realised for the last month ive been taking 100 because the tablets were a different brand and they were 50mg each not 25! ive been okay but im not sure what to do because my prescription is obviously to last for 50mg every day not 100, but im worried if i drop back to 50 i'll be confusing my body 😭

I've never had back acne, but suddenly i'm getting spots on my back now? can this be like a purge?? been on 50mg for just over a month. i wouldn't say i've been pushing on my face. i also have HS and that's been flaring up too. seems my face is getting better but body worse😭

Anyone have any protein powders reccomdations that are acne safe? preferably in the uk:)

hey everyone. been on 50mg for a month now, my first symptoms were obviously peeing a lot and some dizziness when standing. around last week i have started purging a bit, closed comedones scattered everywhere and more spots come up on my chin. since i started my appetite was a bit less, but the last couple days i start to eat something and feel sick, then keep wanting to gag after. i've already lost weight since being on. will it stay like this forever? it was my birthday yesterday and i couldn't even eat eat some of my cake 😩😩 also, i have HS, and for the last year ive had far less flare ups, and usually only one compared to years ago having loads all the time at once. but again, since hitting around the month mark i've flared up badly. can you purge with your hs too? i'm worried spiro is making it bad again :(

Hi everyone! i have been on 50mg for a month now. my problem area for acne is around mouth and chin. it was going fine for a while, but now i've hit the month bit i'm getting a few more spots on my chin again. and also on my cheek and nose? and i never break out there. i'm also annoyed because i had bad closed comedones on my forehead and before starting spiro i had got rid of most of them. but now im getting loads more on my cheeks and forehead :( what can i do for this? i cant use retinoids

can spiro cause hair thinning before making it better? i e always had long thick hair, but went on spiro because of acne, illness and body hairs. i've been on it nearly a month now, but ive noticed my ends are looking thinner :(

hey everyone! just wondering if this could be from spiro. for context i first started having periods at 10, extremely heavy and painful. i went on the depo shot at 14, and came off last year at 20. i didnt have a period until this april, very heavy and painful, coming every 2 weeks until this period which was a 3-4 week break. but this period hasn't been painful at all, and im on my second day and im barely bleeding much. could this be from the spiro? i've been on 50mg for 2 weeks nearly 3🤔

Can you purge from only being a week on 50mg? my skin was semi okay before i started, still bad but not as bad as it had been before but also starting to theo black hairs on chest stomach etc so spiro seemed like my last option. but my skins getting bad again and im getting spots on my cheek when my main problem area is around mouth chin and jaw. ive had deep ones come up on my chin too :(

i already suffer with hormonal acne, can mt2 impact that? i've seen conflicting things online so not sure wether to risk it or not😩
