Breaking the Health Limit™

Hey Reddit side of BOTW, I'm trying to break the heart limit with glitches.

I have a theory that if you cause a heart container spawn, and figure out a way to keep it loaded (preferably by moving it, but forcing regions to stay loaded might also work) that you might be able to use apparatus storage to get the last heart, and then interact with the container to push your amount of hearts past 30. I know very little about the actual programming of this game, but I was wondering if it would be possible to move the heart container in a way similar to the item ball used for vendor item duplication.

A more clear way of wording this is that I'd like to have 29 active hearts and 1 heart stored in the horned statue to allow the heart container to spawn upon completing a divine beast, keep the container loaded by any means and regain the stored heart, then collect the container.

So this is where y'all come in, if there's a way to keep the container in a loaded zone, whether through force loading two cells at once or moving the container, I believe people other than me could find it. I recognize this is assuming the heart container only checks whether to spawn, rather than whether to delete itself each frame, and also assuming that the container doesn't check your heart count upon collection, and that the game only enforces the limit upon interacting with statues, so tell me if that's wrong.

Anyways, Reddit, do your thing!

Any updates on Torbeck voice training

I'm relistening to That Sounds Bad!, and I was wondering if there were any updates on the Torbeck voice training? I remember that Bob said a few episodes later that he was in emails with Andy, but have there been any updates since then?

I BEAT A LYNEL JUST OFF OF THE PLATEAU

In celebration, because I wanted to explain what I did for this, somewhat, I decided to write a lynel fight theory that's in the same tone as an IST guide. I hope you enjoy, lol, I'm sleep deprived

In order to kill a lynel with beginning game gear, you should structure the fight in cycles, with a cycle beginning immediately after a successful parry or perfect dodge on an attack with enough cooldown to have time to shoot an arrow. For this fight, you'll need to know roughly how many cycles it will last, in order to get enough gear to successfully kill the lynel. You can do this by finding your average damage per cycle, and dividing the lynel's health by that number, then round up if your number of cycles isn't whole.

To find your average damage per cycle, perform this simple calculation.

Avg = 5*Weapon Damage + 2*Bow damage

Then,

Cycles = Lynel Health / Avg

Round this number up, and gather this many arrows, plus a few extra for missed shots. Feel free to save scum bokoblin archers or buy them if you have access to any villages. Ensure you have enough bows to shoot this number of arrows.

Some rules for the fight:

Do not attack or flurry rush the lynel with the weapon you've chosen, unless you're on its back, in which case, hit it 5 times. Attacking a lynel while mounted on it doesn't damage your weapon

Try not to waste arrows, only shoot if you're currently in a cycle, missing here is okay, but it will result in a missed cycle most of the time.

A cycle starts when you either perform a perfect dodge, or a perfect parry on one of the attacks, and will end up looking like this:

Aim your bow and shoot the lynel just below their mouth. The hitbox for their head is smaller than expected, but you don't need to be incredibly accurate. This will stun the Lynel, and allow you to mount it. Once you mount the Lynel, spam your attack button to hit the lynel 5 times, link will then automatically jump off of the Lynel. This is one cycle, so repeat this until the lynel is dead.

I want to connect my old phone's display to HDMI, how?

Please redirect me to the right place, because I don't know if I'll find the right people here, but I want to connect my BV058X6M(-L00) to an HDMI converter so I can run raspberry pi projects with it. Is there such a converter, am I stupid, and can you help?

Steampunk Spamton

I made another deltarune song (image unrelated)

If there's a way to pose audio files exclusively, I'd love to know how.
