wondering if anyone has tried this way. i ran out of liquid nail glue so i was wondering if anyone has experience with using solid gel (the kind that comes in those little tubs that you can use to create 3d shapes and things) as a way to apply gel x tips with peel off base underneath it. if you have, was the removal the same way/amount of effort? or did it remove at all without needing to file?

steps: cuticle/nail prep > peel off base > apply gel x tips with solid gel

i have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. i went on isotretinoin for almost a year (low dose 10mg) and used the hydroactive aqua gel ultra light moisturizer (my dermatologist is overseas). this was the first time i’ve loved a moisturizer, because it actually absorbed into my skin and didn’t pill weirdly. it looks more like a white lotion than a gel, has a nice, sort of thin viscosity, and doesn’t feel heavy at all.

i’ve tried cerave and different gel moisturizers, but they never absorb and leave a film on my skin. for some reason, gel moisturizers make my skin oilier than it actually is. i’m currently using the bioderma gel moisturizer as per my derm’s recommendation post-isotretinoin but i do not like it at all, and i suspect it’s causing the closed comedones that are coming back 💔. i no longer have access to the hydroactive moisturizer i loved so i’m looking for an alternative i can buy from the us.

i keep seeing recommendations of bubble, byoma, and prequel products, but i’m so terrified of breaking out 😭. what are your favorite moisturizers?

hello. i sold a ticket for wayyy less than i paid for it back in august 2025. tm emailed saying they required ssn for payouts but i was iffy about it then and saw some redditors saying they just waited it out and ticketmaster released the money to them without the ssn input. i tried waiting it out and it’s been basically 7 months since the concert and haven’t gotten anything. has anyone had to wait for longer to receive the payment without ssn input? i briefly considered giving the info anyways today, but i’m still wary about sharing it considering data breaches online?? i’m aware that it’s for the 1099k but i figured it wouldn’t matter since i did not profit from the sale.
