I thought it’d be fun to paint a girl playing electric guitar in a bathtub. What are y’all’s thoughts?
(Edit; The red in the water is the guitar’s reflection)
I painted Jesus in this peaceful mountain setting because I wanted to imagine what it would feel like to simply sit with Him and have a conversation.
His expression is meant to feel gentle and welcoming, like He is saying, “I’m here. Tell Me what’s on your heart.” The mountains and open sky represent the peace and hope we can find when we bring our worries, questions, and dreams to Him
What do y’all think of this name “Shepard of the Mountains”?
The harder the employee works, the more spectacularly somebody else gets to look successful.
Thoughts? Inspired by my recent work experience as a marketing assistant
My whimsical aerial painting (:
Hi! I’m 26F and I started Lyra in January. I love aerial arts so much, there’s so much beauty in it. I decided to paint this Lyra in the sky!!
Let me know what your thoughts on it!! Also, I was playing with the idea of making Lyra paintings with different settings. Any ideas for another good background?
(Last photo is my first showcase in Lyra also hehe😄)
I started Lyra this year and made this acrylic painting of a Lyra in the sky 😊💕
Just got the idea for this and I’ve been up til 2am painting it—couldn’t wait for tomorrow. I have therapy tomorrow morning. Lately I’ve been revealing some new things and I feel a certain level of exposed being analyzed during it. I tried to capture that feeling of being examined
I also wonder what goes through the psychoanalyst’s mind while they’re analyzing their patient. Their so neutral, it’s difficult to read
I was trying to sculpt a woman on aerial Lyra. I’ve never used clay. How can I get the body more 3 dimensional?
Also good news is it dried and stays put.
Hey guys! I guess I’ve been feeling therapy-inspired lately!! Therapy has been making me feel all the feels.
I’m wondering what you all think of my latest concept. It’s a visual representation of what happens when I feel safe enough in therapy to let my internal world out.
I was playing with the idea of certain parts looking almost like drawings inside someone’s imagination—as if the internal world is being drawn in real time (unfolding) I also included some childlike or playful elements like the layered heart, moon and underwater scene to further illustrate the feeling of being my full self and the vulnerability of being soft and imaginative at my center.
I’m really curious how this comes across to other people and what you see in it!

I decided to paint this with no rules and go by feeling only. (I usually paint realism and make myself do insane perfectionism) but I didn’t focus on that this time just went with how I felt. It’s about therapy reaching through to me past pain.
